Would you consider this Garagiste? Yes, I just learned the meaning of the word.

Had not heard that term before, but I think it probably qualifies. I hope to move along to crushing grapes at some point, but I'm just not there yet. There's still a lot for me to learn. But my wife and I really enjoy it, and the wines have been well worth the effort.

Started a new batch tonight. Languedoc French Bordeaux. Really like what went into it. Can’t wait to see how it turns out in about 14 months!

Looks great, man! Love the whole setup. Makes me want to get back into winemaking....my wife would lose her mind though Between brewing, coffee, bitters, cigars, pipes, music.... I have enough going on.

I hear ya, thankfully my wife fully supports this one. She helps out with the production and obviously helps ensure there is always new space on the shelves.

Glass carboys on the top shelf scare the hell out of me. I like to keep my blood in my body.

I don't disagree, but these shelves are super strong. I'm not worried about the shelves as much as I am a carboy slipping from my grip as I raise it up. I try and be very careful.....I hope I never have an accident.

I have my controller set to keep temp at 77°. It generally stays at +/- 2°. I’ve found that gets the most active fermentation.
