Holiday Herf III

McP, I get a hotel when I go up. There is a Courtyard by Marriott within walking distance from JR. There are several others in the immediate area.
 
Yeah, trying to figure out what to bring myself. ???

Allright, we are THREE WEEKS from the pre-herf herf on Friday, December 6. Usually a group of the folks that will be attending on Saturday meet at JR at lunchtime on Friday and herf in the lounge until dinner, go out to dinner and then come back to JR until closing.

I am planning on being in Whippany by 11:30AM on Friday, so if any CP members want to come by and start to get a feel of what Saturday is going to be like, stop by!

FYI, as of yesterday there were only 10 spots left for signing up if you want to get a herf kit. The herf is still open for anybody to stop by on Saturday the 7th, but you will not get a herf kit.
 
Bill, you'll have to talk to the boss about Friday. LMAO I'll be landing around 4:00 p.m. in Newark and then I am in his hands the rest of the weekend. But, for sure we'll see you on Saturday! Oh and bring me a cigar or two, would ya'? :)

Oh, by the way, registration to get herf kits are closed, but anyone can still show up on the 7th.
 
Oh holy crap, I think I know where this is.... Got an address, I might be able to go to this, Whippany is only about an hour and a half from Bklyn.

Hmm, got to figure out how to get this passed the woman though. Her birthday is the 5th.. 'Hey honey, uh, I have a surprise for you, but it's uh, in Whippany, NJ... Yeah.. That's it. Whippany. What do you mean what is it? It's a ummmm, surprise. that's the ticket'

The big herf is on the 7th, so hopefully you guys can make it... :)

Just take 287 south to Rt. 10, and it is just a couple of miles down the road on the right hand side.

ONE WEEK before the pre-herf festivities begin! I'll will be spending this weekend putting together what cigars I will be bringing for the weekend.

Again the actual Holiday Herf will be on Saturday, December 7 at JR Cigars in Whippany, NJ from 10AM - 10PM. Right now it looks like 170 cigar smokers will be there during the course of the day. There is a longest ash contest scheduled and lottery tickets will be available for some great prizes, including two specially made humidors. Frankie Torano from Torano Cigars and John Huber from CAO will be there also.

There is a pre-herf that starts around lunch-time on Friday December 6 at JR. Everyone is invited to attend.
