Herfing in IL.

Always a possibility, let me know, or I'll check back here.

Now that the ban is in effect, where can we herf in Illinois?

I move back to Illinois from Indiana and they pass the same type of smoking ban! At least Indiana allowed for walled off rooms to smoke in.

Outside is about it for me in Southern Illinois. I think my local B&M is still allowed, but last I was there they didn't even have any chairs.

wow, you really threw me off, resurecting this old thread.

There are many great cigar stores in the Chicago area. The most recognized is probably Cigar King to the north and Belicoso's to the south. west I'd pick Stogies in Hanover Park but M.T. Barrels in West Dundee looks like the best place to get food & drink delivered to the ajoined cigar store. And then there's the city shops...

SSSSSSSSSSO... n e one wana set up a herf? The last one we had at Cigar King was fun but for some reason only four of us showed up. Is any1 down for a smoke... I am willing to check out other places. I go to Cigar King a lot, but i am willing to check out other places. Leme know what is good for you guys.

Im still herfing at Belicoso. A cple of CP members have dropped in over the past couple weeks. If anyone wants to stop in let me know!

Right now they are just issuing warnings and no fines. There is no real way to issue the fines yet since they haven't laid out a real rule for what kind of structure you can have to actually smoke in. So, at present, it's a warning and no fine. But, this is going to change soon, I'm sure. There are also some big rumblings that there will be changes in the law. Casino lobbyists are making real noise as are private club owners. We currently are still smoking at our club, even though it worries me since I'm the one who will have to pay the fines. They are just locking the doors and hoping no one calls on us. LOL!

Stick it to "the man", Matt!

I've visited some great lounges in Lakemoor and Elmhurst.

We should all get together soon.
