But seriously, I think the reason this thread is ending is because the membership has vented. There was an underlying tension that was starting to adversely affect the quality of some people's experiences here at the Pass and, finally, the pin was pulled. In venting, the community reaffirmed the spirit of the values and norms of CigarPass.

This might have seemed like just another dustup, flamefest, what have you. But in my opinion it was a pivotal event. We've redrawn and clarified boundaries of what the community will and will not tolerate. Those who were silent know they need not be silent again. This place belongs to all of us and those who choose to work to make this the best damned cigar community on the web know they will be heard.

It should end because CP is about S/BOTL's teaching newbs like me, how to become a rightous(sp) BOTL. Why is it that I can't distinguish different flavors in cigars. All those things that guys like you and me are curious about in the wonderful art of cigar smoking and collecting.

The only thing I've learned here is not to get into a pissing contest with anyone. It's a waste of time.
