I posted a cigar review yesterday as a way to introduce myself, but forgot
to say a formal "hello" in the Lobby (thanks for the reminder PSTAN !).

I live in central Cal and have smoked cigars and pipes for 22 years now.
I've been watching the site for a while and you folks have so much fun, I had
to get involved !

I hope to learn more about cigars and eventually, once I learn the ropes, get involved with some passes. Looking forward to it ! :D

CohibaSurfer ?

That depends; how many enemies would I make by admitting I know him ?

Of course, CS introduced me to this site and has taught me a lot about
cigars, coffee and good rum. I am honored to call Mike a friend. :)

With a name like Springbank I was hoping you'd be a scotch guy.

The real question is, are you going to be a troublemaker like him? :p

j/k Mike, I ain't lookin fer trouble :whistling:

Welcome!, we seem to have quite a few people from CA here. I'm ont much for rum, but I love coffee too!.

Welcome! Lots of left coast people here. What do you hunt?

To AVB, of course I like scotch ! Yes, "Springbank" refers to my favorite
(Lagavulin 16 yr old when I want something heavier). :D

To Golfgar, I like to hunt just about everything, but free time gets more scarce
every year. On weekends I go locally for quail and dove. I usually make it out
to the duck blind 2-3 times a season. One week in North Dakota every November
for pheasant with my Dad and two brothers (that's a blast !). For deer and elk, I
try to get out to Arizona every couple of years or so (whenever my freezer gets low). Alaska for mixed bag hunting and fishing is one of my biggest dreams, but it hasn't happened yet. You ?

I have confined my hunting to birds. I go duck hunting 2-3 times per week during the season, goose hunting 2-3 time per year. I try and go quail hunting at the farm at least 5 times per season and dove hunting 3 or four times. That makes the fall a busy time of year. I have never shot anything bigger than a goose. I used to go to South Dakota every year for pheasant, but the group stopped going a couple of years ago and so did I. We went for 12 years in a row and I miss it, but now I have too many obligations with kids anyway. I have been fishing is Alaska but have not hunted there. I would like to Argentina someday for the hunt/fish combo.
