What the heck is with this "IF THIS GOES OFF"???

If this goes off, it'll be my biggest Herf yet (esp since I didn't get to go to the Quad-state). I'm in the DC area and counting the days til next we meet.

Sorry Tim, didn't mean to sound negative. I just know that anything I put stock in, "they" will find a way to mess up for me. With my luck, if I had counted this as 100% definite, WWIII would kick off and I'd be called home on Sat morning.

You can still smoke at Shelly's. But they want you to buy their cigars. They have to maintain a 10% sales in tabacco. They will let you smoke your own for now.

I have a meeting in Aberdeen on Monday, so I might just be staying in PA for the night. Have not made up my mind as of yet. I am in Los Angeles right now...haven't been home much the last 2-3 weeks. Just going to play it by ear. I am planning on being in Harrisburg, though. :thumbs:

OK, after traveling all week and getting stranded in Atlanta last night, I am officially exhausted. The chances of me making this herf are decreasing by the hour. I will try, but I cannot promise that I'll be there. Sorry. I was really looking forward to seeing some familiar (and not so familiar) faces once again. I guess this is the price one pays for business actually being good. :blush:

Sorry for the last-minute bailout (friggin' newbies!), but I have a big exam to study for this weekend, and if I go it'll be an all-day affair, something I unfortunately can't afford for the next few days. Well, I'm in town - got a room at the Comfort Inn on Front street - they still have vacancies if anyone is looking, but everything else downtown has been gobbled up by a weekend long Christian Teen conference. I have an extra bed too, if someone just ends up needing planned or unplanned crash space.

Phlicker - sorry you can't make it man, good luck with the studying and better luck on the exam. I brought my study stuff with me, not that I'll actually use it <grin>

Sorry to hear that. You will be missed and hopefully we can reschedule and get another Herf going next time I'm in the neighborhood. Just met with Matt (BChem) tonight and he suggested I make time to hit Philly and go to Holts, so if I get a chance to head your way, maybe you can meet me and play tour guide or something.
