Funny, I love catching them, but think they're meh at best! Smoked they're ok, but give me walleye, perch, or catfish over them any day! What are those? Brown Trout? Trout are some of the tastiest fish fried, baked, or smoked...

I love just about any fish except the really fishy /oily ones like Bluefish.Funny, I love catching them, but think they're meh at best! Smoked they're ok, but give me walleye, perch, or catfish over them any day!
I’m not gonna lie, what John did to V. Hachon makes me happy. Pretty nice thing to do. Those sort of acts don’t happen much outside of communities like this.
I’m still completely blown away by his generosity, as well as everyone else’s. No other community, be it online or in person, has ever shown my this kind of acceptance. Cigar pass it truly something special and I’m thrilled to be here. It would seem I have a TON of paying it forward to do, and I am very excited about it. I hope that soon I am able to bring to others the happiness that many of you have brought to me.Indeed. I know for a fact he's been shown lots of BOTL love to welcome him to the club, and I hope he sticks around for a long, long time to learn and contribute. This place is like no other forum community I've ever been involved with, be it for guitars, music, guns, motorcycles, or anything else. Members going out of their way to do a lot of nice things they don't have to do, just to be able to make someone else happy -- you don't get that too many places, anymore.

Haha no kidding! I’m currently rocking an air tight 40ish qt hefty tote. I’m saving for a cooler but I gotta take it slow because in all honesty, my wife absolutely hates that I smoke cigars. Some days she she cares less than others, but I know she’s less than thrilled. But we each have “no questions asked” money that we get every paycheck, so that’s been my saving grace. Hoping in time she’ll mellow out a bit.Looks like you may need to invest in a cooler before your next mail day. I don't think your little desktop is going to hold all of those from John!

Oh, I thought you were referring to like a glass front fridge.

I’m sure I’ll have an easier time doing that, than buying a wine cooler to convert.
I read the coolidor 101 thread. I think that’s the route I’ll go. With camping season coming to an end I’m sure I’ll find a great deal somewhereDude, an Igloo camping cooler is all you need. Hold off on an active unit until you are much further along in the hobby/lifestyle. A cooler, some beads (lick them for best results...), and maybe some spanish cedar pieces or shelves, and Bob's your uncle. There's several stickies around about building a coolidor, and countless threads over the years. You don't need to spend a lot of money to have as much storage as you'll ever need.

My B&M sells their empty boxes for $2 a pop. So I was gonna pick up a few tomorrow. Thanks though!Let me know if you need some cedar cigar boxes...
Great! Just make sure they are cedar, and that will help regulate the humidity. My B&M sells their empty boxes for $2 a pop. So I was gonna pick up a few tomorrow. Thanks though!
Single-Dad'ing it with The Short One while Mom is away for training. Went to Amsterdam yesterday on the train and did dorky touristy things, and rode the tram all around The Hague today just to do it (and made a stop at LCDH to grab a few essentials). She's 12-years-old, so I'm holding on to every second I can get that she still actually WANTS to spend with me!
