I am finally done with the remodeling project from hell!

My son and I start his three-day-member-guest Thursday.

All my kids and grandkids have rented a house on Kelly's Island in Lake Erie for a week starting July 28th.

I am so blessed to have such a great relationship with my kids and grandkids!

For any of you just starting a family, it's sometimes tough to keep the long-term goals in mind but, believe me when I tell you this. As you get older it is so powerful to have great relationships with your kids and grandkids!

I didn't plan it this way, I am just incredibly blessed that it worked out this way! I was strict with my kids, but I was also their friend. We all learned to value family, and I couldn't be any happier as I get older!
