The second number in my weight dropped another notch on the scale this morning . . . what started as a 6 is a 2 now. It's when that first number drops that I'll really be getting somewhere, but this . . . this is still good.

Happy to have a cigar on the Dove opener.

Went Dove hunting with my son today..... They weren’t flying, the few we did shoot at were missed, but I did thoroughly enjoy the time I had with my soon to be Marine today!

I judge all hunting on the quality of the experience and not the quantity on the kill sheet. That experience sounds great! Many great hunts do not result in food for the table.

Agreed! He’s grown up way too fast for my liking and is turning out to be a fine young man. I cherish the time I have with my children, but get sad when I think how the empty nest is just around the corner.
We joked how the worst day hunting beats the very best day at work. But, it’s true! Great conversation, and Noah is my very best friend!
