Happy Festivus everyone! Commence the Airing of Grievances and Feats of Strength.

We had neighbors and friends, who we celebrated this with for years. One of the wives worked at a fabricating plant and she asked them to make her a festivus pole. They questioned why and really didn't believe her when she said it was for Festivus.

That pole got passed around each year, you never knew where it was going to end up. It was the previous years recipient's responsibility to leave it at one of the groups door steps. We need to find this and start it up again.

When can start the airing of grievances?

When can start the airing of grievances?

I’ve probably had the pole for 10 years now. Every Festivus evening I do an Airing of Grievances and Feats of Strength picture with my boys and put it on Facebook. It’s fun to go back and look at the old ones from when they were much younger. Over the years we have added things like doing (H&H) bagels for breakfast and (Atomic) subs for lunch.

My boys are 19 and 17 now and they both work tonight, so the annual photos will be posted a little later than usual.
