Happy Birthday preembargo!

Happy Birthday my other Whidbey brother :)

Happy Birthday today my friend! Smoke a couple of good ones on Tobacco Road today.

Best wishes for a Happy Birthday and some great smokes.

Seth

Thank you all for the well wishes. Julie's still out of town and I'll be working at Tobacco Road today, so nothing special planned. But, it's still going to be a great day. The shelves go in the new humidor at the shop today and I get to start building the 'Pepin Wall'.

I'll definitely be smoking some nice cigars today. It'll be tough choosing from all of the TAT's that came in :whistling: (yes, we just a FULL account!) so thanks to some great brothers I'll be smoking a R&J EL 2005, Cohiba Reserva, Trini from '04 and WOAM from '05.

Or I'll actually have to work and smoke something that will require less attention.

Thank you again for the smokes and well wishes.

Happy birthday Mike! I hope you have a great day...even though you'll be working.

Hey Goodlookin' Happy Birthday!

I'll be thinking of you all day long and missing you too. :(

I hope your day is filled with laughter, love (from your children), and all the best gars' that are at your disposal (no Honey, that doesn't mean you can purchase all the Pepins and TATs within reach).

I love you and can't wait to get home and give you my present!

Kiss the kids for me and enjoy today!

Julie

Hey Bargogirl, come on, this is a family place...get a hotel will ya!!!

Full Tat account?

I may have to excersise my membership discount via phone in the near future :)

Thank you Lady and Gentlemen. I really expected it to be just another day but it really turned out well. Julie did a hell of job putting things together remotely from Atlanta. I walked into the shop to find a bag on the counter with a nice coffee mug and a bag of 'Pacific Northwest' coffee from harpu and a VERY GENEROUS bomb from vin#.

I went to work and in the afternoon, Jim (harpu) brought out a very tasty birthday cake (which I had to share  ;) ), then sonavabum and his lovely wife drop in and wow me with such generosity that I still have no words.

OK, the day should be back to normal right? Not even close, My son and daughter come to the shop to give me their present, lots of hugs and kisses, some Killer Bean Coffee that was sent by a member in Maine ( I'll look at the box when I FINALLY get home and thank you properly) and an acoustic guitar. I'm floored! Then a customer sees the guitar and pulls out his harmonica and starts jammin with me. OK, jammin's not really accurate. I fumbled through some almost chords while he played. Then I handed the guitfiddle over to him and he did some amazing things with it. I swear, with his beard and talent, I'd have sworn he was a member of ZZ TOP ( but they were performing near Houston last night so he couldn't have been...could he?).

Then to top the day, the new humidor wasn't finished so I had to spend the night in the shop while the contractor worked. So today I build the 'Pepin Shrine'.

To everyone who had a part in making this a birthday to remember, you have my deepest and sincerest thanks.

edit to add: AND this morning we became the only retailer in Texas to carry Killer Beans! I'm already planning the Killer Bean Tasting! Thank you Jerry!

Doesn't sound to me like you're "working" today...I hope to hell Jim's not paying you!

Happy Birthday Mike! Your one helluva BOTL. :D

This is the best I can do remotely.
Sorry I couldn't make it ... clients don't ya know, gotta pay those bills and save fot the pilgrimage (SP?) to the Pepin Shrine. I think I'm a Pepin Ho!
I want to visit before then end of July, or so that's the plan.
Sounds like your B-Day was just GRAND... Family, Friends, Coffee, and Cigars (and you got paid for it).
Happy Birthday! :sign:
