Happy birthday JoeGibs !

Heyyyy!! Thank you everyone! My birthday weekend was spent out in Colorado. We spent Thursday in Denver, checking out some fun local restaurants, breweries, and Stranahan’s distillery.

I then made my way to the Churchill Bar in the Brown Palace Hotel to have a smoke. Their selection was outrageously priced, but fortunately they said as long as I’m ordering drinks I can smoke my own. After lighting up this most excellent gift from @cohibasurfer that I had been saving for a special occasion, I noticed a gentleman at the table next to me giving the menu the same absurd look I was.

I informed him he may smoke his own if he’s ordering a drink. He said he didn’t bring one, so I offered him a Leaf Maduro I had with me. It was fun seeing his excitement unwrapping it and savoring the first puff. He tried paying me for it, and I refused saying it was well worth an hour of conversation instead of staring at my phone. He was an Italian man, who now lives in Florida with his wife and kids.

The following day we traveled up to Breckinridge. I visited a gentleman’s barbershop for a proper beard trim. Free beer while you’re there!

Once arriving to our Airbnb, I promptly smoked a joint, had an edible, and went to town to check out Breckinridge Brewery for a beer and a snack. Having not yet felt any effects of the altitude, I drank the beer like normal… quickly. 5 minutes later, between the earlier “treats” and the beer at altitude, I didn’t feel well. On my way attempting to reach the bathroom, I passed out, in the middle of the brewery. The lights literally shut off, I went blind and felt my knees give out aaaand down I went! Woke up right away and laughed, everyone at the bar laughed, good stuff. They said it happens frequently 🤣

I decided then, that for the rest of the trip, I wouldn’t be smoking any more cigars because I now realized how difficult it was to breathe. Whoops.

The following day, we traveled to the top of the mountain to say “I do”

Edit to add: made good use of the tube from my birthday cigar to transport some goodies home safely 😁

And our rental car was perfect for the occasion. And the views were 👌🏻
