Had a Bad Day updated

So my wife had a ultra sound today and the doctor said that the baby is not growing as fast as it should be and the umbilical cord is inserted in the chorion rather than in the mass of the placenta. they call it velamentous cord insertion, and they are going to have to monitor the growth of the baby closely. hopeful every thing is ok and it just winds up being just a petite baby and not anything more serious. my wife was a nervous wreck and we both took off of work today to settle down. i have been telling her that there is nothing we can do but hope and pray that everything turns out alright. This is are first baby and we are both scared.
