I guess you're too busy to answer my email?

Please respond to my repeated attempts at resolving the issue of damaged cigars you sent me. Thank you.

+1 I was reading this like, "Hey! That looks like something!... oh... wait... on second thought."

There's nothing I hate more than a dealer who won't take care of his customers.

I personally have had nothing but wonderful service from this guy everytime I make a purchase from him...He is a lil hard to get a hold of at times yes....but other than that wonderful service...len

I have been trying for a week to get a response from him to address this issue.

Here's the situation:

I ordered a box of Padilla 1932 Toros, which the website listed as in stock. He called me after the order was placed and said that the website was wrong and that he only had 20 Toros. Fine, I said, I'll take them.

The order arrived and I found 16 Toros left in the box, over half of which had significant damage to the point where it was clearly obvious the wrappers were coming off. They in no way, shape or form could be considered acceptable. Put simply, they never should have been sold to me in that shape. There were only 5 of the 16 that were undamaged; the rest had peeling wrappers, cracked feet, or caps falling off (and some had the trifecta and were immediately thrown in the trash). Cracked feet I can live with, but not wrappers peeling off and binders splitting.

He charged me for 20 Toros (but only shipped 16). He threw in a couple Pyramids and Robustos to make 20, but didn't care to inform me; just a suprise when I opened the box.

In my emails to him I was courteous and even offered a resolution to the matter that both of us could live with. None of my emails were responded to.

There have been other complaints about this vendor, do a search on any of the boards. Perhaps I should have listened.

It sounds like he doesn't know how to store cigar, and from the response that he only 20 ment that he must have in some way checked on the stock. Which means he most likely opened the box. If he didn't at that time, when the order was packed to ship, he (or the $5 dollar an hour packer) noticed that the sticks were missing and most likely damaged.

If they were damaged in transit, then he should file a claim against the shipper, after he offers to ship what you ordered with a return shipment label, and then clear it up with the shipper.

Cheapercigars- I recommend that if you want to sell your stuff here, take care of the people paying your bills, the customer. Granted that not all people will be satisfied, things happen. But you don't seem to have a very good reputation among the masses here.

I have heard nothing but negative things about this dealer. I will surely stay away.

Horrible experience with this low life. Would post a link to the thread on CF, but it is down right now. Suffice it to say, STAY AWAY, FAR, FAR AWAY!!!
