Graycliff Sampler?

A 5-cigar sampler goes for $68 on C-Int, and I could hopefully get that for less on C-Bid. What do the experts think? What does anybody think? I've never had one, but some of their reviews have my mouth watering...

First I'll have to see if I have that much loose cash in my 'secret fund'. Why do we get married again? The kids, right.

One other thing. If I did pick them up, how long should I let these suckers chill in my 70/70 humi? Please don't tell me a year. Please.
 
Never had a Graycliff (we're not talking Gurkha's here), but that seems a bit overkill for 5 sticks.

You can probably find better than that over at Holts.
 
Depends on which one you're talking about...I just had a fiver of Graycliff Profesionale Pirates sent to me for $65 + shipping. Worth every penny and you don't have to let them rest very long. I've been told the other sizes don't taste as good for some reason.

Damn... I read it wrong. Strike my comments from the record. I've never had a Graycliff, so I couldn't comment on them.
 
While I enjoy the espresso as a milder cigar I think Graycliff is over priced for what you get. I haven’t had the Chateau Gran Cru yet which has gotten good reviews but I think you’d have better luck with something else.

The Greycliff Espresso is a dynamite cigar, though pricey. The Chateau Gran Cru did absolutely nothing for me. The aged robusto (from 1999) was a fine smoke as well; I scored about 20 of those on an auction from CBid... nice price for a nice smoke.

the only thing i know about Graycliff is the hot girl at the B&M loves them. lol. The Espresso is supposed to be superb, I have 3 resting for whenever I'm in the mood to feel poor.
 
Only you can decide if it's worth it for you. At $68 for fice sticks, that's 13.60 per stick. Check MSRP on the sticks in the 5-pack and see that they aren't gouging the pack price, then decide if 5 13.60 sticks is worth trying something new.

I concur with many of the above, I like Greycliffe, but feel they are very overpriced. If they were half-MSRP I'd add them to teh regular rotation, but as it stands I'll only smoke them when they are gifted, bombed or I can get them on C-Bid for the cheap. If you have never tried them before, and would like to form your own opinion (you may think they are the cat's meow and worth MSRP) then dive in and just consider part of the cost the "first time smoked" tax. <grin>

I bought my first two Greycliffe at MSRP as singles in a store in Florida and wasn't upset that I did. It let me know what I was getting into and they were definitely enjoyable smokes. It also let me form the opinion I hold today...good but overpriced.
