So I'm still running on my Radeon HD 5450, and it's definitely time for a upgrade. I installed Black Ops 2 and it barely functions on the old card. What are you guys using, what do you folks recommend?

I run an EVGA GTX 650 and have no problems running anything. The Egg has em in sock for just over 100.00

Josh, I'm fairly open as far as budget, I'm just looking for a good card for the buck!

This. GTX 5xx and 6xx cards are great. Nothing beats CUDA accelaration. If you have the scratch, get a 660Ti, or even a 670.

Gents, this looks like a smoking deal, so I hopped on it.

MSI GeForce GTX 650, a copy of Assassin's Creed 3, 2 day shipping for $104.99 to the door!

ETA - They also give you a $20 mail in rebate, it's going to cost me $84.99 to the door.

I'm still open to thoughts, I bought it because I liked the deal, but it may very well not be what I need!

I have 2 GTX660ti in Sli and I couldn't be happier for what I paid.

Even one would be a huge upgrade to the card you currently have.

And the deal that was linked is a good one. That's a nice card.

Just go for the gusto and get a GTX690. Go ahead....I dare ya!

It's bloody hard to keep up with what's the 'bang for the buck' leader in graphics cards. I always check out this list, updated monthly at Tom's Hardware:

....don't miss the chart at the end of the article - solid comparisions:

Here I'm running a Radeon 6950 that is still hanging in there just fine. Better cards for the money today, but this one is working well for me, so far. The guys at MSI have aftermarket cooling solutions that are really nice, on both their AMD and nVidia solutions....give them a good look.

Edited to add - were I going to buy a card today, it'd likely be one of these two:

I was an nVidia fan for a lot of years, sure have liked my ATI cards lately.....

Alright gents, the card arrived today at about 10am. I popped it in, 3 minutes worth of driver installs and she's running. I must say I'm crazy satisfied at the point. It's only about 1 hour into the card, but I already see a HUGE improvement. The card resolution actually syncs perfectly with my monitor (no more black border), Black Ops 2 is on it's maximum settings and it's 100000% better. My KDR went from .86% to just under a 3%. This thing is flying, and for the $85 I spent on it, I feel like I got a amazing deal. Thanks for all your input guys!
