Dunno! I can open any links someone else post, but yours on my phone. I noticed yours always look different as well with the big bold "Link" in red letters.?

He makes his links look pretty by formatting them color/size/font weight etc.
 
There is a work around, instead of just "tapping" the link, hold your finger down on the link, it will then bring up an options box with what you want to do with the link.
 
You can then force it to open by selecting "open in a new page" and it'll work.

I'm guessing he met his wife at "work", and she was (or still is) an employee of his.  I also wouldn't doubt if she was mail ordered or over in the States on contract.
