Good morning all, just checkin' in from Colorado Springs (United States Air Force Academy). Things are great, I'll check in later on, enjoy........ :)

Top of the morning to all!! Hope that everyone remembered to turn their clocks back. Enjoy the day with some good smokes!!

Gooe morning everyone, the coffee is on as always. We got back late last night from Colorado Springs (0200) after a devastating loss to Air Force, 30 - 10. Army plays Rutgers this coming Friday at West Point which should be another great football game. I hope all of you have a great day and you get to smoke a couple of your favorite cigars........ :)

We just finished a pound of real bacon. Salted, & smoked with no chemicals and had it sliced before our eyes. Those Amish still make it the way it is supposed to be. Too bad it's so expensive. The Blue Mountain Blend was a good match too.

Good morning all and here's to a new week. I just finished brewing a fresh pot of joe and it looks like bagels are on this morning's breakfast menu. It's gonna be a fast and furious week here at the Academy rebounding from the Air Force game and jumping right in to prepare for all the festivities of a Friday night game. At least we have one thing to look foward to is that we get next Monday off for Veteran's Day even though the actual day is the 11th of November (Sunday).

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week and you get to enjoy a few of your favorites all through it...... :)

GO ARMY!!!!!!

Good morning all and as always, the coffee is on. The weather is a bit crappy this morning with winds, rain and temps in the low 50s:

It's one of those days when you go out only when you need to. I have a bunch of stuff to get done in the office but I have a few runs to get done on the other side of Post and hopefully the rain calms down by then. Oh well, I hope all of you stay dry and you get to enjoy a few of your favorites....... :)

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day. I've got a fresh pot of joe brewin' and it looks likes bagels are for breakfast today. The fall weather has definitely kicked into full force now with temps in the 30s at night and rising to the low 50s during the day. They are saying that we will see the first snow flurries Friday night during the Army vs. Rutgers game here at West Point. It should be a great game and a hell of a way to celibrate Beth and my birthday (we share the same B-Day) tailgating at Michie Stadium:

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and gets to smoke a favorite or two if the time arises....... :)

GO ARMY!!!!!!

Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and I'm about to grab my 2nd cup as I've bben up since 0400. I've got a lot of stuff to get done at the office so I'm going to go in a little early and knock it out. Being that it's Thursday, we will be at Schlesinger's this evening for a cigar or two and a couple of cold ones as well. Stop on by if your in the area and enjoy a stogie with us. If not, enjoy a favorite or two where ever you are....... :)

Hows it going everyone?
Its morning and I had trouble getting to sleep again. However, while lying there in bed, I come up with this zany device for active humidification. Its currently only an idea, but hopefully, will not remain so.
Unfortunately, experience tells me I will get held-up somewhere in terms of starting this project; usually it seems that when I have the time, I don't have the cash, and when I have the cash, I don't have the time.
We'll see which issue will delay me after I do some more research on prices and difficulty.

Hmmm. In other news, I think I have an exam today, I'll have to call a friend to make sure though.
However, I'm not really worried. I did well on the first test, and its for a universally required, but simple 100 level computer course. I'll just quickly scan over the notes an hour or so before the test, like last time.

I think thats all for today.
Anyways, enjoy your day ladies and gents; Wednesdays over, its all downhill from now on...

Guten Morgen alle!!! Kaffee alles Verbrauchtes.

Ouch baaaaaad translation program there bud!

Don't forget to drink your last two bottles of "Smoked Beer" Tom. :p

Me? Been at work for 3 and a half, had some nasty coffee out of our new automat the Boss installed in the kitchen and I'm dreaming of tomorrows trip to the Casa :D

Happy Birthday Charlie!

Good morning all and TGIF. I have a fresh pot of joe brewin' and I'll be headin' over to the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) in a bit. Well, it looks like Tom is ready to come home to the good ole' US of A from what I read there. For today, I'm going in to the office for only a couple of hours to set up the Emergency Operation Center with all the required comms / computers and cameras for Army football. Then I'm comin' home to relax till we head back to West Point (around 4PM) to start tailgating for this evening's Army / Rutgers football game. It should be a great time and a helava way to spend a birthday. Beth and I both were born on the 9th and we met in 1995 at a bar called the Leprechaun. Anyway, I hope everyone has a super Friday and you get to enjoy a few of your favorites....... :)

GO ARMY!!!!!!

Good morning everyone and yes, there's a fresh pot of joe brewin'. Yesterday, was a relaxing day and then in the evening we celibrated my niece Dawn's son 3rd birthday whose dad is about ready to come back from Iraq after being there for 15 months. Today, will be filled with football and NASCAR and we'll be watching our nephew and his sister (my god daughter) so everyone can go to the wedding. I hope all of you have a great day and get some relaxing time and enjoy a favorite or two as well......... :)

Good morning all and Happy Veteran's Day. I've got a fresh pot of coffee on and I'll probably do a traditional American style breakfast today with eggs, bacon and toast. I'm gonna stop out at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument here in Cornwall, NY at 11 a.m. American Legion Post 353 will be hosting a Veterans Day ceremony near Town Hall on Main Street. After that, Beth and I will head out and start our pre-Christmas shopping for this year. We want to get a jump on things this year and we figured why not start today. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and takes the time to remember our great sailors, soldiers and airmen........ :)

Good morning all and here's to another work week. The coffee is on and it looks like bagels are on this morning's breakfast menu. This week should fly by as tomorrow is already Hump Day and my schedule is full of meetings and presentations thru Friday. Saturday is Army's last home game and it's against Tulsa. Should be a good game and hopefully with a wn, we go into the Army vs. Navy game on the 1st of December with high spirits. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it........ :)

Morning folks,
I have a exam at 10am today and have been up all night for it, but decided to take a little breakfast break.
Unfortunately, this exam is going to be considerably harder than the last one, but... whatever, I've done all I can do.
Just some last minute skimming, and them I'm off. Despite how well I do though, I do plan on enjoying a nice Ashton VSG to relax afterwards.

On a side note, I was finally able to try out this new technique for making eggs, and let me tell you; They came out absolutely excellent!
Try it yourself: all you need is eggs, a deep mug, and an espresso machine (weird, but read on).
Its really simple: all you do is crack the eggs into the mug and then cook them with the steam from the frothing tube. -but be careful though, egg chunks might fly at you, I suggest you use a pot lid, or your wife or something, as a shield.

If you have a espresso machine, I highly suggest you try it out.
I guarantee you they will be the fluffiest eggs you have ever had!

Anyways, later guys and gals.

Good mornin' all and Happy Hump Day. I've got a fresh pot of joe brewin' and bagels to accompany it. It should be another nice day weather wise with temps in the low 60s and partly clowdy as the weatherman predicted:

http://weather.aol.com/main.adp?location=USNY1003

Just to let you all know, we are 10 days from the upcoming Thanksgiving Herf at Sclesinger's Cigar Bar. If you are planning on attending, just let us know in the actual thread so the owners have a good number of guests to care for. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day and gets to enjoy a favorite or two if the time permits....... :)

Good morning everyone and yes, there's a fresh pot of coffee on. Today as the rest of the week has been will be busier than ever. We're preparing for 130 soldiers to come down here to West Point this weekend and stay in the Transient Barracks the we operate. What it is, some General from Ft. Drum (up-state NY) bought 150 tickets for soldiers to enjoy this weekend's Army vs. Tulsa football game and asked if they could stay at our location. We informed them that we can only house 130 of them and the rest will have to be sponsored by family members on post. Besides my regular duties, now I feel like a hotel manager but that's okay as long as the soldiers have a good time this weekend and everything goes nice and smooth. Anyway, being that it's Thursday, we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar this evening enjoying a couple of cold ones and smoking a favorite cigar or two. If your in the area, stop on by and if not, enjoy a couple of your favorites as well........ :)

GO ARMY!!!!!!

Good morning everyone and TGIF. A fresh pot of coffee is on and in about an hour I'm meeting my work mates over at the West Point Dining Facility (mess hall) for some good Army chow. Hopefully they have a good batch of SOS going and the biscuts are nice and soft as well. Today will be a totally coordination day seeting up the Operation Center for tomorrows game ensuring all communication, cameras, computers and such are up and running as well as ensuring all the logistical needs for the Ft. Drum soldiers are done. At the end of today's work day, I'll be ready for a cold one and most likely a full body stogie of my choice. We had a great time at Schlesinger's last night with a full crew of comedians and a night full of great fishing stories. I hope all of you have a great day today and you get to enjoy a favorite or two as well....... :)

GO ARMY!!!!!!!

Good morning all and yes, the joe is on. I've been up since 0330 gettin' ready for today's Army vs. Tulsa football game. We bring up the Operation Center at 0600 and go hot at 0700, that's when all hell breaks loose. It should be a great day for a game though with temps in the mid 40s and sunny:

http://weather.aol.com/main.adp?location=USNY1003

Steve (toje) and his two sons from CAO will be my guest today for the game and I'm sure that they will have a great time. I'm also sure that after the game and when I finally get home that there will be a cold one or two with my name on it. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it as well........ :)

GO ARMY!!!!!!!
