Good morning all and happy Hump Day. The coffee is on as well as bagels and cream chesse for breakfast. It's finally going to nice around here weather wise with temps in the low 70s and sunny with low humidity for the next few days. Perfect outdoor smoking weather and I'm sure that we'll be sittin' outside Schlesinger's Cigar Bar tomorrow evening since it is Thursday evening and all. Either way, I hope everyone is doing good and get's out to smoke a faorite or two as well......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning everyone and of course, the joe is brewin'. Well the Yankees won again making it 7 in a row (knock on wood) and this weekend's match up with the Red Sox could turn things around big time. Here's a quick look at the standings and just by chance they sweep them again like the last time, we would be within 1 to 2 games of 1st place:

Giambi and A-Rod have been on fire lately and as long as our pitching stays tough, we have a good chance at doing it. Well enough of that, today is Thursday so that only means one thing. We'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar this evening enjoying tastey cigars along with a couple of cool drinks and great conversation. So if your in the area, stop on by and join in on the fun. Hello all and yes, we're havin' fun now. We're having a joint training excersize here with multi enforcement agencies and that's all I can say about it. This should last a day or 2 or 3........ :whistling: . I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys it as well........ :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a while. The joint training excersise is going well and the weather isn't too bad. You know what they say, "If it ain't rainin', we ain't trainin'". After today, I'm off for a week and I'll be heading down to Newark, Delaware for their annual Octoberfest at the German Club (Saengerbund):

We'll be hittin' the Fest around noon tomorrow (Sunday) and staying till the end 1800 (6PM) and then we'll be joining the festivities inside with all the folks afterwards. Monday morning, my wife Beth and I will be heading down to D.C and will be staying at the Navy Lodge in Annapolis and we'll be catching the Mets vs. Nationals game that evening. Tuesday thru Friday, we'll be relaxing on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland celibrating our 4th wedding anniversary. It should be a great week together and the 5 day weather forecast looks great as well. I'll be stopping in later on today and then in the morning and unless the hotels we stay at have computer service, I'll be back on next Friday evening. I hope all of you have a great day and enjoy a favorite or two if you get the chance....... :) :thumbs: :cool:
 
Morning all and yes, the coffee is on. I can't hang out here long as we have to pack for the week. We'll be headin' out of here around 9am and hopefully we can check in' to our rooms early. Then off to the fest for some tastey German food and a number of cold beers. I got to pack my traveldor and then we're out of here. Good morning all and I'm back from vacation. My wife Beth and I had a great time all week long and I smoke a number of super cigars. We're glad that we got home so we can relax from the vaca now and get back to the day to day things that happen normally. I got a fresh pot of coffee on and today will be mostly filled with baseball, football, NASCAR and BBQ. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys themselves as well........... :) :thumbs: :cool:

It should be a quick week as we have a home game coming up this Saturday vs. Temple and we also have a very important funeral this Thursday at the west Point Cemetary. We are buring GEN Downing and there will be roughly 1500 in attendance from all over. Anyway, I hope all of you have a great week and you get to enjoy a few of your favorites....... :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning everyone, coffee is on and it looks like bagels are on this mornings breakfast menu. Since we are actually in the fall season, the weather is still nice with temps in the low 80s in the day and then dropping to the low 50s at night. Perfect sleeping weather and what's nice is that you can still enjoy the sun and the humidity is nice and low. It's the best time to sit out on the back deck and BBQ as well as smoke a favorite cigar. I hope all of you do the same if the time permits and the weather cooperates as well......... :) :thumbs: :cool:

It can't come early enough as Saturday is our 2nd home game here at Army vs. Temple and they are calling for a sunny day with temps in the mid 70s. Jeez Charlie, I wish I could get out of work early enough to get up there tonight, but no way that's happening, it's probably about 1.5 hrs. from where I work, and I won't be finishing before 2100 tonight...Anyhow I guess I'll see you on Saturday! GO ARMY!!!

Not sure what's up for today as of yet but tommorrow should be a good day here at West Point with Army football vs. Temple. I hope everyone has a great weekend and gets to enjoy themselves and relax with a good cigar or two........ :) :thumbs: :cool:

Hey man, for some reason I never picked up that you were at the actual West Point (ghey school ;) ). Are you faculty or instructor or something?

Yeah, West Point chow I'm sure is pretty good. Probably 5 star dining. At VMI we didn't have anything like that. We were lucky to eat dirt some days, like real men :p :p :p

To answer your question to what I do here at West Point Glacies, I work for the Garrison Commander in the Installation / Emergency Operation Center (DPTMS). Today should be another beutiful day weather wise and I'll be enjoying it on my back deck relaxing with a couple of great stogies, cool drinks and BBQ. I'll have the NASCAR race on and check every once in a while to see if my wife's Mets make the playoffs or not with a win today.
