In all my years I could never get a handle on SOS, I'd rather go hungry and have. More power to ya!
 
Morning all and hope your hump day goes by as smoothly as possible. AVB, SOS is great if the cooks now how to make it correctly (no lumps and just the right amount of meat versus sauce)and the biscuts are fresh. :D I had a good friend of mine stop by last night that is stationed in Hawaii. Presently he is on block leave prior to going to the big sand box. They depart August 11th and his unit (25th Infantry) is scheduled for a 1 year tour. We enjoyed a couple of Opus X Petite Lanceros an I let him know to furnish me his address so when they finally get to thier destination and they are settled that I'll get a care package together for him and the fellas. Hope all of you are doing fine and get to enjoy a favorite of yours today........ :) :thumbs: :cool:

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on. I've got to make this short as all of us at the staff level of headquarters 1/1 Infantry Battalion (DPTMS) have a tour of the Indian River Nuclear Plant. I have to be at the office a 7:00 ready to go. So, I hope all of you have a great day and get to enjoy a couple of your favorites........ :) :thumbs: :cool:

Morning all and TGIF. The coffee is on and I'm glad it is. Gonna go in to work early so I can get off early and start the weekend off with a ceegar and a couple of cold ones on the deck watchin' the NASCAR qualifying at 3:30. The fellas are racin' this weekend at Pocono Raceway and hopefully I can catch the race on Sunday. Anyway, hope you all have a super weekend and don't forget, the NYC Herf is tommorrow....... :D :thumbs: :cool:
 
Well good morning back right at ya Stogieman. Too bad its a Saturday every day for me. :D I havent put any coffee on and I cant wait to get my order of Killer Beans by Monday. Then my mornings will be even better. I'm about to fire up a random Opus X to start the day off since we are having a massive thunder/lightning storm outside.

Off early, with beer and 'gars for the weekend. Sounds great man, I look forward to when I can do the same.
 
Tried that go in early thing yesterday but it certainly didn't work. Good luck on your end with it.

Morning all an Happy Herf Day. I just got back from a hot 2 mile run and now I'm ready for some breakfast and a pot of joe. Gonna head out to the Herf around 11:00 and hopefully not catch too much traffic. Enjoy the day all as we will at the Herf............ :D :thumbs: :cool:

Woke up this morning at 0300 local (my internal clock isn't back to normal after returning from R&R Leave).....so I started a pot of coffee and watched Armed Forces Network TV. After one cup I decided "What the Hell" and went to the gym (1st time in over a month) since it was still early. What a mistake, pretty sore now.....Thank God for MOTRIN. :) :)

Mornin' all and yes, got another pot of the joe on. After I get cleaned up, I'm going to work a little early and meet one of my cigar buddies for breakfast at the West Point Dining Facility. Normally we do this on Fridays but I'm takin' the day off tommorrow to relax and enjoy. Also, a bunch of us are going to see Peter Frampton in concert tommorrow night out doors and the ticket cost was $50 a car load. I couldn't believe it either, her is the link to the website:

I even called the station folks and the venue as well and they both said blankets, folding chairs and coolers are allowed. The only thing they said was not allowed was alcohol but I'm sure that a smart cooler packer can hide a few cold ones in between the ice, food and everything else.
