Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a good hour now. Well, the Yankees did indeed bounce back and get that "W" yesterday. The final score was 10 - 6 with Colin Curtis getting his first major league homer in his career. The Bombers will take on KC this evening with C.C. Sabathia throwing the first pitch at 1905(7:05pm). Today being Thursday, we'll be at Schlesinger's Cigar Bar / Hudson valley Cigars this evening enjoying primo sticks and watching the game. If you're in the nieghborhood and have the time, stop on by and join in on the fun. Either way, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys it as well........ :)

Good morning all and yes, the pot of joe is halfway gone. Well, we had a good time last night at Schlesinger's smokin' primo ceegars and watchin' last night's wacky Yankees game. They did win at the end 10 - 4 but it was fun watchin' them get there. Jeter hit an in-the-park homer and A-Rod hit his 599th as well:

The two teams will play again this evening at the same time of 1905(7:05pm) and this time A.J. Burnett will be throwing the first pitch. Also this weekend, the NASCAR racers are in Indianapolis with the Truck race at ORP as well as tomorrow's Nationwide Series and then Sunday the Sprint Cup racers are at the Brickyard. I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend filled with a few of their favorites....... :)

Good afternoon all, I hope your day has been going as planned. Currently watching the Yankees game, it's KC over the Bombers right now 7 - 4 in the bottom of the 6th. Later on this evening, I'll be watching the NASCAR race from Indiannoplis (ORP) as it's to hot right now to be outside. Enjoy the rest of your day and try and keep cool as well....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans coffee is on. Well, the final score of yesterday's Yankees vs. Royals game ended up being 7 - 4 Royals. Hopefully the bounce back today and get the win. Phil Hughes is starting for the Bombers today and will be throwing the first pitch at 1305(1:05pm). Congrats to Kyle Busch for winning last night's NASCAR Nationwide Series race in ORP. Today the Sprint Cup Series will be racing at the Brickyard in Indiannoplis and the waving of the green flag should be just after 1300(1pm). I hope everyone has a super Sunday and enjoys...... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Well, the Yankees beat the Royals yesterday 12 - 6 after a 2 1/2 hour rain delay. They'll start their road trip tonight taking on the Indians at 1905(7:05pm). Also a big congrats to Jamie McMurry for winning the Brickyard yesterday and only the third driver in history to win the Daytona 500 the same year. Here's a picture of Jamie and the crew kissin' the Bricks: http://www.nascar.com/
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys a few of your favorites through out it...... :)

Enjoy your time in the Poconos, Charlie. I left a chair behind at CF. Please pick that up for me. Thanks. :D

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is finally on. Isy, I'll be sure to look around for that chair as it meant so much to you :D. Well today is my first day of vacation, Beth and I are planning a cruise on the Hudson River today. Well, the Yankees lost last night 4 - 1 and hopefully they turn that around this evening with a "W". A.J. Burnett will be pitching tonight for the Bombers as the game starts at 1905(7:05pm). I hope everyone has a happy "Hump Day" and enjoys a favorite or two or...... :)

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's day two of my stacation. We had a great time yesterday taking the Hudson River Cruise out of Kingston on the Rip Van Winkle http://www.hudsonrivercruises.com/. We had lunch at Rosita's http://www.rositasonline.com/ and after the cruise, we went over to the Mariner's Harbor for a couple of cold ones and some fresh seafood from the raw bar http://www.marinersharborny.com/mariners/. Finished off the evening with an 03' Opus X Petitte Lancero which was smooth as silk. It was good to see the Yankees beat the Indians 8 - 0 and the two teams will play one more this evening at 1905(7:05pm) again. Today, I'm planning on driving down to Barrister Cigars in Union, NJ for a fund raiser to benefit The Steve Faccenda Children’s Education Fund. Here is a cut and paste from an email I received yesterday:
Meet Tim Ozgener at The Barrister

Join CAO President Tim Ozgener for a very special evening at The Barrister tomorrow, July 29. Tim will be in-store from 4-10 pm as CAO partners up with The Barrister to raise funds to benefit The Steve Faccenda Children’s Education Fund.

Steve Faccenda, a regional sales manager, was a beloved member of our CAO family for over four years and was known and loved throughout the cigar world. Steve recently lost his hard-fought battle with cancer, passing away on May 29, in Dover, New Jersey. Steve is survived by his wife, Deborah Gifoli, and their three children, Steven Jr., Tim, and Taryn.

In return for a $40 charitable donation, you will receive a CAO 3-pack containing a CAO La Traviata, CAO LX2, and CAO Vision, along with a CAO Cutter and matches. There will also be raffle prizes throughout the evening. Come out, meet Tim, and help support a worthwhile cause.

I hope everyone has a great day and hopefully I see a few of the local S/BOTL from the area there....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the joe is brewin'. I had a great time yesterday at the Barrister and it was good to see Tim O. as always. They raised quite a bit for the Children's Education Fund and it was great to have Steve's wife in attendance along with the three kids. As I was driving home from New Jersey, I had the Yankees game on. The Bombers went from a 2 -1 game and by the time I got home, it was 9 - 1. The final score was 11 - 4 and I'm sure the stands were pretty empty by the 8th inning. This weekend New York is taking on the Rays down in Tampa Bay and this evening it will be Phil Hughes startin' for the Yanks at 1905(7:05pm). Also this weekend, the NASCAR racers are at the Pocono Raceway where Beth and I will be headin' tomorrow thru Monday. We have the pleasure Sunday morning of escorting the Color Guard from West Point to present the National Colors at the start of the Pocono 500. It should be a memorable time and I hope that the weather cooperates. Currently there's a slight chance of rain for Sunday and I hope it stays that way. I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys it as well...... :)

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans coffee is on. Well, we are taking off shortly for the Poconos and the slight chance of rain has now turned to a chance of rain. Either way, we're going in and hopefully they start the race on time. If it gets rain delayed, I'm off till Wednesday, so we'll go back to the track on Monday and watch it then. On another note, the Yankees lost last night 3 - 2 and now the Rays are only one game behind. The two teams will play again this evening at 1910(7:10pm) and A-Rod is still at 599 homers. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys...... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee is on as always. Beth and I are back from the Poconos and we had a great time. We got to walk up and down pit road, drive on the track, see every driver before and after driver introductions and sit in seats right on top of pit wall road. It rained a little bit prior to the race which delayed the start but once the green flag flew, it didn't show again until there was about 25 laps to go. At that time there was a bad accident, so between the clean up and rain delay, we made it to a restaurant right down the road. I see that the Yankees are now tied for 1st place with the Rays as the Bombers lost last night 8 - 6. We are headin' down to the Bronx this afternoon to catch the game this evening as long as the thunder storms hold out. I hope everyone has a great day and enjoys a favorite stogie or tow....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a good hour now. Well, we went down to the Yankees game yesterday afternoon and for the second day in a row, the Bombers have lost to the Jays and are now one gambe behind the Rays. The Yankees and the Jays will meet again today with Phil Hughes throwing the first pitch at 1305(1:05pm). Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy "Hump Day" and enjoys....... :)

Good morning all and yes, the coffee has been on for a good hour again. Well, A-Rod hit his 600th homer finally helping the Yankees win yesterday afternoon 5 - 1:

The Bombers are off today and will have a weekend series with the Red Sox here in the Bronx. I hope everyone has a good one and enjoys a favorite or two or....... :)

How can it be a good morning when I have not even try to make it a good night. Then again in my case I am sick like a dog so.

Good morning all, the coffee is on and T.G.I.F. It seems that the humidity has finally broken as I'm not dripping wet at 0500(5am). Here is the forcast from NOAA for the next 5 days:

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?CityName=West+Point&state=NY&site=OKX&textField1=41.3623&textField2=-74.0273

Sports wise, we have the boys from Bean Town (Red Sox) visiting this weekend, the NASCAR drivers are upstate in Watkins Glen, NY and the New York Mets are in the city of brotherly love - Philadelphia. I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend and gets to smoke a couple of your favorites through out it...... :)

Good morning all, the coffee is on and looks like it's going to be a gorgeous day here in New York. I see that the Yankees lost the first game to the Red Sox last night 6 - 3. Hopefully the bounce back today with a "W" as C.C. Sabathia thows the first pitch for the Bombers at 1610(4:10pm). There will be NASCAR Nationwide Series racing today at the Glen starting at 1330(1:30pm) and then this evening the Craftsman Truck Series will be down at Nashville Superspeedway racing starts at 2030(8:30pm). I hope everyone has a super Saturday and enjoys...... :)

Stogie, you didn't say how vacation was? Hope you enjoyed the time off. You deserve it.

Good morning all and yes, the Killer Beans Electric Chair™ Espresso coffee is on. Ed, we had a great vacation filled with a cruise on the Hudson, the weekend up in the Poconos and finished it off with a day in NYC. Well, the Yankees came back yesterday and won 5 - 2 padding their lead in the American League East. The two teams play this evening at 2000(8pm) with A.J. Burnett taking on Josh Beckett. Also today I'll be watching the NASCAR race from Watkins Glen which is road race upstate New York. I hope everyone a great one and enjoys a favorite cigar or two...... :)
