Good Morning S / BOTL - 2013

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 and it's back to work Monday. It was a good game yesterday for the Eagles and a great season as well. I wish the Saints the best and hope to see them in the Superbowl versus the Chiefs. Enjoy your week everyone and remember to be safe out there...... :)
 
Good morning everyone, the coffee has been on for a while now and it's another brisk morning out there (currently 12°F according to NOAA). Not much going on this week except for a little snow heading our way early Friday morning. Enjoy and stay warm........ :p

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always (work days) and it's Friday! Snow wise, we got a dusting up here in Cornwall but I'm sure the mountain to West Point got a little more. We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's, the regular crowd was there along with a couple of new faces. Enjoy your weekend everyone and I hope you all are prepared for tomorrow night's storm....... :)
 
Good morning everyone, the espresso coffee is on and it's freezing rain out as we speak. We got 4 to 5 inches of snow last night and now there's a good layer of rain on top of it. Shortly, I'm going out with the snowblower to clear the driveway and walks. Later on, we'll be watching both NFL Playoff games and hopefully it'll be the Chiefs against the Saints in the Superbowl as I predicted in week 4. Enjoy all and be safe out there....... :)
 
Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Tuesday. It's been a couple of days of sub zero weather here in the Hudson Valley, it's looking like it may warm up a bit tomorrow going into Thursday. Remember to dress in layers and enjoy everyone......... :)
 
Good morning everyone, the coffee is on as always and it's already "Hump Day". I see that the temperatures are rising and by tomorrow, we should be in the low 50s be it it'll be raining. Sports wise, congrats to Mariano for making it into the Baseball Hall of Fame unanimously along with the other inductees as well. Enjoy all and remember to be safe out there....... :)

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's already back to work Monday. We had a good weekend with family and friends yesterday as well as Saturday getting ready for a big Jack & Jill baby shower for one of our nieces. Over 100 guests showed up at the American Legion Hall in New Windsor, NY, the food was fantastic and the love was shared by all. Weather wise this week in the Hudson Valley, I see that we're suppose to get a couple of snow falls along with cold temps. I hope everyone has a great week and gets ready for the up coming storms........ :)

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0400 and it's Hump Day. As predicted yesterday, they called a code "Red" at 1300 (1pm) and it's continued today through 1700 (5pm):

"WEST POINT IS CODE RED UNTIL (slated time)"
Employees should not report until the announcement time. Supervisors will excuse absences without charge to leave for all employees affected whether or not leave was previously approved. Employees who do not report for work by the announced time will be charged leave for the remainder of their absence if it was properly requested and approved.

"WEST POINT IS CODE RED ALL DAY."
Only employees in emergency positions should report to work. Employees in non-emergency positions should not report to work until their next regularly scheduled workday.

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a good time at Schlesinger's last night, the regulars were out and smokin'. Not much on our plate as far as tomorrow goes, probably head over to Hudson Valley Cigars and hang out with the fellas and smoke a couple. Sunday, Beth and I will be heading over to the New Windsor American Legion for a pot luck (she's making a pulled pork) afternoon. They're hosting the Superbowl with raffles, 50/50, drink specials and we already have our squares (fingers crossed we get good numbers). Hopefully it's a good game and the Rams win over the Patriots. Good morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's looking like we'll have another beautiful day here in the Hudson Valley. According to NOAA, we should hit the low 60's and sunny again. Fired up the grill yesterday and threw on a nice London Broil along with a couple of baked potatoes and a tin of brocoli. Tonight after work, planning on barbecuing country ribs along with grilled cauliflower. We can hardly wait until Spring is here for good as Beth and I grill almost everyday. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it as well and get to smoke a favorite or two or......... :)
