Club Macanudo, drink and cigar not too far from library. Dress code for the club, check their dress code
 
Carnegie Club is great for a relaxing smoke with some available snacks/Apps. If you have time Club Macanudo is amazing. It is very pricy but sitting down to a steak dinner in NYC and being able to smoke at the same time is a unique experience. The smell as soon as you open the door is fantastic :)
 
Thanks to everyone's input. Now the big question of where do I want to take my wife for an amazing anniversary dinner?
 
What kind of food does she like and what kind of budget are you working with

Well if you can get a reservation at Peter Lugers in Brooklyn - you have to go there. If not plenty of great options in the city. Lots of well known ones like mastros, Gallaghers , old homestead, stk. etc.
But my favorite is Quality meats - it’s also like a block from Central Park and Columbus circle which is perfect for an evening walk
 
I haven’t eaten at many steak houses in NYC because of Lugers, I just keep going back. Plus their bacon……
