GOF Quality Control Problems?

That was the last one . . . I have self control issues when it comes to GOFs. :whistling:

I went through my coolerdor this morning and don't see any signs of other problems or infestations or anything. Quite the relief, since the coolerdor's where I keep all the really good stuff . . . it's insulated and the humidity's more stable there.

Maybe it was addressed in the thread and I missed it, but how is the retailer supposed to see alleged beetle holes under a band?

It was and you did. ;)

I wasn't, didn't, and would never, blame the retailer for something like that. As I stated, I thought he should know just in case it WAS beetle-related damage.

But I still have a lurking suspicion that someone at the Fuente factory---as Wurm said, all it takes is one guy having a bad day---saw the damage and slapped a band over the gaping hole anyway. ???

I just sold a crap load of these GOF sets, and I haven't heard of any problems from any of my customers. But if they had that problem with a set I sold them, I'd take it back and give them a replacement. I'd also send the set back to Prometheus...which is where it came from...not Fuente, unfortunately.

I like your sense of customer service Isy, next time I will check with you before I pull the trigger. CB*d hasn't been too popular as of late judging by some recent threads.
