You should go there, its fantastic. The pricing of God Of fire that I can find is for the humidor this year($6000). I will call Prometheus monday and find out what the four packs are going for. If anybody needs retails on most anything domestic I can get it for you. We deal in Prometheus but not the God Of Fire and I can't get them. They are sold out to retailers before they are even offered to the general public. The retailers have to play a lottery style drawing just for the chance to get them. I have to do this with the special Opus boxes and the Opus CD packs(BBMFS in 5000 of them!)We have orders in for both this year and I should find out soon what I will get. I will keep you guys posted.
 
I got an invite for the NYC release dinner on the October 19. The going price is $350 for dinner and the GOF by Carlito, 2004 Churchill, GOF by Don Carlos, 2005 Robusto and the GOF by Carlito, 2005 Double Robusto will be presented at the dinner. There is a charity auction after dinner, I'm not sure if I'm going or not.
 
The Cd pack again hmmm. ok i want 3 at least.Let me know. Its been awhile since i was here so i hope your legit(my botls will let me know).I would really like the 04 cd pack as well if possible. Cant seem to keep the Forbiddens around.

The God Of Fire 2005 Lighter,Cigar pack (one Cigar and God Of Fire Lighter)retails for $100. I got this info directly from Prometheus and they told me that it would be toward the end of the month before they are released!

Don't want to mislead anybody. In my first post I said that we will not have them! I will get the CD packs this year but no GOD OF FIRE! Sorry for the confusion.

lighter ??? i hadn't heard about a lighter! :thumbs: I've got a prometheus cutter that I love, anyone have a lighter?

I have a prometheus, I am not sure that I like it. It uses butane like a '69 Camaro big block. I am actually scared to use it now, as yesterday it was spittin and hissing after I let off of the button.

I am going to send it in and get it repaired, sucks though, I have only had it about 2 weeks.

Anyone have a recommendation on Colibri? PM me or start a new thread, we kinda threadjacked this one. :whistling:

That's a great analogy with the big block and my favorite year camaro.

Do yourself a favor and buy an inexpensive Nibbo for under $20. When you lose it or it stops working you can get another one and not have to wait several weeks to get it fixed. YMMV
 
OK, I talked to my "guy" and he said they are expecting them around the last week of October with a release date of November 1. He is not sure what he will sell them at (he is a mall shop so he usually sells above MSRP to the public but he cuts me a deal which on stuff like this is around MSRP). However he couldn't make any promises to me so I can't make any either.

Wednesday my shop told me that Fuente was running behind on shipments and he may not have them until December. Don't know how many sets he will be getting, may be tough to get a few sticks for myself let alone 2 10's.

Fuente is a marketing genius.

I just have to get my hands on some of these cigars before the gougers buy them all up and sell them on Yahoo for a $100 a stick.

I local Fuente Dealer said that all of the Prometheus stuff is supposed to get shipped all at once around the second week of November. That means the GOF's and the new Opus X CD / DVD sets. GOF's will be in packs of 3, 10 and whole boxes. "Supposed to" means "maybe". We'll see. That's what he was told from his Prometheus rep. But then again, reps lie all the time.

Okay finally got the call and they are in but they only have the double robusto and the four cigar sampler. I'll try to post some photos when I get home.
