General Fantasy Football Discussion Thread

This still is the lions we are talking about.

Hey now!

My gut told me Palmer, especially if Reed doesn't play, but my heart is saying Kitna.

Sorry, I am a michigan resident near detroit my entire life. I've been burned more times than not by the lions. I drank the 6-2 kool-aid last year, and i'm not ready to drink it again just yet. lol

Oh trust me, I completely understand.

Jamal Lewis or LenDale White??

I know Jamal is game time, but I may not have the opportunity to adjust my lineup then.

Im not overly excited about LenDale, but he fell in my lap in a late round.

With Jamal being a gametime, the safe play is Lendale, but its not your opportunity or not in this case whether you make the change....Tennessee is a 1 pm start and Cleveland is 4:15.

I would have to go Lendale....the chance of at least getting some points is better than the chance of getting no points.

Ok guys, Turned turned out decent and Kitna did a little better than Palmer. :whistling:

Question for this week: What do you think of trading Kitna and C. Chambers for Cutler?

I have A. Johnson, B. Edwards, and Fitzgerald at receiver, so Chambers will most likely be on my bench most of the season barring an injury.

I would do the deal, cutler imo is an upgrade over kitna. I tend to be anti-lions though...so take that for what its worth. ;)

I think Kitna might do better than people think. With practically no running game, he's going to be forced to throw... a lot. You're not betting on the Lions to win - only that Kitna gets his stats padded. Which he will.

On a related side note - This whole "we're going to run more" b.s. from the Lions is laughable. You have 2 top tier wide receivers and you're telling me you're going to hand it off to some 2nd or 3rd round running back? Please. 2 weeks of this nonsense, at best.

Being forced to throw and completing those throws are two different things. If they have no running game, defense need not stack the box and can double cover the wideouts. I've always thought he was a good QB given the right system...only time will tell this year.

On the flip side, denver is going to run the ball with someone. Hell I could run the ball in denver and gain 1000 yds LOL. If royal continues to perform I think you will see cutlers stat line go way up.
