Gauging interest: Upstate NY Herf?

I've thought about organizing a herf now and again, but given that paucity of members from the Upstate NY area (Rochester, NY specifically), I've put the thought aside.

But then I figured "What the hell? I'll ask." So would anyone be interested in a herf in Rochester, NY? We'd have two choices of venues:

1) My house... big lawn, large pool and pool area, and a barn for smoking in, just in case of bad weather. I could also easy get some fold-up tables if we wanted to do a poker tourney or such.

2) We could do it at The Havana Club -- I'm a member there... there's a private upper area with poker tables, pool, couches, TV, etc.

I figured we could get Dinosaur BBQ to cater it, pick up some good beers at Beers of the World and make an evening out of it.

So is there any interest? Anyone in the Rochester area up for it?

Two of my best friends in the world just moved up to Rochester (after deciding that BIG city living wasn't for them after a few years in Boston). I need to get up there and visit pretty soon...

We're entering into the Bad Season here in Rochester... maybe a spring herf would be a good time to do it?
 
With some advance notice, I can definitely make it to Rochester. I've heard great things about that dinosaur bbq.
 
There is better then Dinasaur for less money IMO.... Plus the wait to get a table is always stupid long.


I might be home for a visit the end of April :cool:
