Gauging interest: Upstate NY Herf?

I've thought about organizing a herf now and again, but given that paucity of members from the Upstate NY area (Rochester, NY specifically), I've put the thought aside.

But then I figured "What the hell? I'll ask." So would anyone be interested in a herf in Rochester, NY? We'd have two choices of venues:

1) My house... big lawn, large pool and pool area, and a barn for smoking in, just in case of bad weather. I could also easy get some fold-up tables if we wanted to do a poker tourney or such.

2) We could do it at The Havana Club -- I'm a member there... there's a private upper area with poker tables, pool, couches, TV, etc.

I figured we could get Dinosaur BBQ to cater it, pick up some good beers at Beers of the World and make an evening out of it.

R.A.G.S -- Rochester Area 'Gar Smoker

So is there any interest? Anyone in the Rochester area up for it?

Scranton is closer for me too but a visit to MokiLand sounds like a helluva lot of fun. :thumbs:
 
Moki, If you start getting ready now, you can make it to todays herf at Mom's in Scarsdale. If you're early, feel free to stop by my place and join Stogie-man and I for a beer and cigar.
 
Definitely interested. Shoot I could meet one of my Mac Software idols from when I was a computer enginerd.
 
I'm interested as well Andrew but do we all have to stay in the "Barn" over night. If so, I'd like the spot next to the sheep, that's if Steve (slevy) doesn't beat me to it......... :D :thumbs: :p Depending on the date you pick, I'm up for a raod trip fellas (Rob, Steve, Ralph and myself) and We'll be the talk of the town. September if pretty much out of the question for me, between vacation in VA Beach and working home football games here at West Point. It looks like the 14th of October is still open for me as it's an away game and I have no other plans. Here is a link to the West Point Football Schedule:

Yup, definately interested in the road trip. I'll check my availability when a date is picked....maybe the sheep will be interested in a threesome?

Hey Charlie, I don't know about all this sheep talk (I prefer lamb with mint jelly), but if you have room, put me in for a road trip.
 
I might be up for a road trip too just to have the pleasure to meet Mr. Moki.
