K-9 clubs?

Winner winner Chicken dinner!!

Now to win the prize, tell me why?

you have two guesses, and everyone else after you will only have one.

David
I have no idea.

1. They were your hole cards for a significant win for you (first million $$ :D , tourney winner, royal flush, etc.)
2. You like the paintings 'Dogs playing poker'

Thanks for the contest D.

Wrong your done! next guessers... Clue to come later if no one guesses right. Ill give a hint (not a clue  ) its a technical reason.

UPDATE

I asked Jeremy to send me a DC# when it ships, but just wanted to let everyone know that he has been in constant communication and hopefully this should be hitting the road today.

Nice to hear he has manned up and is doing the right thing here!
Good work everyone on the communication!
I bet you are relieved Jake........

I'll be relieved when it arrives on David's doorstep. ;)

I'll take a guess why you like the K,9 of clubs.

If you end up making you're flush....a flush with clubs is called a golfbag and you like to play golf. It also gives you a possible straight draw.

It's great to hear that this has been resolved. Do we have an eta on when this will be shipped?

UPDATE

The pass ARRIVED.... I am now eating and will go through the pass, and all that fun Jazz. Will report back with a full report.

David

Ok after a long day. I sat down and Reviewed and looked over everything as well as coming up with some puts and take ideas. Here is the run down:

Everything in the pass looks in tip top shape, box is well seal, tubberwear seems to be working with holding 65% RH, no cigars seemed to be damaged, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY NO CIGARS ARE MISSING. Now I must say, I know exactly who was a little wozzy while doing their puts and takes. Jonesy marked in the folder that he took the #3 Hemingway Classic Maduro, when I opened the box right on top was the classic with a number 3 on the bag. OH NO I thought, this is going to be bad. So I took a quick sigh and went through it all. Then went on the boards and saw that Jonesy took the BTL not the Maduro, and that cigar was not in the box. Thus he just wrote the his takes and puts across the wrong cigar. ??? But no fear my friends! I took out my White out and fixed the simple mistake.

Secondly I noticed was that there were TWO number 57. So I went back and checked and again Jonesy wrote the wrong number for his CAO America Anthem Coffin. It was labeled 57 like the Zino Platinum Anthem Barrel was. But again my friends, fear none. I took out my classic Pen that I have had since Freshman year in high school and crossed out the 7 and added an 8 to make the Coffin number 58!!!

Moving on to my Puts and takes to await for approval.

Take: 60... Tatuaje Reserva SW Put: 66.... Padron 1964 Pyramid Natura.
Take: 20... Jose Seijas Belicoso (Mmmmmm) Put: 67... Añejo Reserva "Shark" no. 77
Take: 42... Toast Across America DCM Put: 68... DCM Stanford 90th

Now an opinion possible put and take that I need from you guys to see if it will work.

Take: 9... Ashton ESG 22 Year Saulte (Torpedo) Put: 69... Tatuaja Frank

Also, not sure if it is allowed but I thought I would ask just in case. In any passes is there an unhidden rule about putting 2 cigars in for one take to make up for the total?

Thanks

Great that everything is in good shape. I by no means have seniority to give P/T calls but even though the Frank is quite rare, and not going to be available again, I do not think that it has a 8 dollar rarity factor. I could be wrong, and I personally do not mind because I would rather have the Frank :)

Cheers,
Ed

8 bucks? From what I saw on the CA article a while back ( I will try to locate it) the ESG 22 was $17.50 MSRP. The Franks are around 13-15 bucks. I am up for suggestions that is all. Which is why I questioned it.

I don't think these two will work. The Seijas Beli is at about 14.40 vs. the Shark at 9.75 and I don't think the rarity puts it that high.
Like Ed said, the Frank won't work. I believe the ESG 22 is about $19-23. The Frank is at best $15 and even if you add the rarity....maybe next year

Went to Cigar Comparison Shopper and you are right on the Seijas, I remembered that, I got mind half off, awhile back hosted by khari which is why I had a different number in my head. Ok let me go back to the drawing boards. (aka the coolidor)

Edit: came back with an idea

Take: 53) Tatuaje Cojonu 2003 Put 67 Tat Frank

Forget the ESG, I was just curious, but they have them down at the shop so Ill let someone else take them who may have a harder time finding them.

Thanks for looking out for me David...you'd think that I'd never been in a pass before.

Sounds good Jake, I will do this when I get home today. As for the Envelope I am taking number 8. I am going to contact Don (Dsav101), right now.

David

Question to you all. Jake has contacted me with some possible concerns with the weather warming up and that getting this pass moving as quickly as possible should be a priority. I have a suggestion. Don (Dsav101), who is meeting up with me this Saturday, and I were wondering if we can do a virtual put and take. Meaning, what ever Don takes I will take them out of the box and give it to him on Saturday. His puts will be Mailed to HenrysCigar who is after Don. Don and I will mail the pass and his puts on the same day to insure that they get there around the same time frame. What you guys think.

David
