Friday I burried a friend, fellow brother, hero

There are no words that can take away the loss. I can only say thank you and all your fellow officers for your service.

May he rest in peace.

Brandon, his sacrifice and your service is not in vain and it will not be forgotten. We live in what I believe to be the greatest society in the history of mankind, in large part because of the selfless service and sacrifice of men and women like yourself. Our prayers are with Alice, Kristin, Morgan, Amaya, Kenden, and Tanton as well as with you and your entire department.

Thank you Brother.
...amen. Words escape me now but I can offer my best regards, condolences, and sincere thanks for the efforts on all our behalf. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers going forward.

Best Regards - B.B.S.

Brandon I am sorry for your loss, you and Officer Martinez family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Like everyone says, stay in there and fight the good fight. Citizens don't always take time to show proper thanks for the guys that do the dirty work.

Here in Dallas and Fort Worth, we've lost two fine officers in the last few weeks and it reminds us all how dangerous your job is.

Thanks for your dedication and sorry for your loss.

God Bless!

My deepest condolences. Prayers to you and all his friends and family.

May he rest in peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine losing a friend like that. You guys take such a risk everyday just to make sure our way of living is safe. Thank you for that. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

He and many like him, firefighters included are taken for granted much to often. While my brothers in arms defend my freedom and way of life on foreign soil. These men and women fight to preserve the same in my home front. All to often being taken for granted. It is with pride and much gratitude the I say, May he rest in peace.

Hang in their brother, those whom are kept in our memories and talked about with love are never truely gone.

I'm sorry for the loss and grateful for his service.

Prayers are being sent to you and his family. I, like others, am at a loss for words. Hang tough. Thank-you for your service.

Prayers out to Officer Martinez's family, you and your fellow brothers. I can't even imagine what all of you are going through. Keep your head up, stand tall, and be strong for your family, friends, and the community.

Our condolences, from all the brothers in blue in Kansas City.

Brandon: My prayers of comfort go out to your family, to Officer Daniel C. Martinez, and to all that are affected. I am struck by his courage, and wanting the world to be a better place... salute.

Our prayers go out to his family. There are no words to express the gratitude that this society owes our fallen heroes.

Has a fund been established for the family? I am sure that many BOTLs would want to contribute.

Sorry for just getting back to this. I just saw your post Louie, and thought I would let you know where you can call if you want to contribute.

Arvest Bank has set up an account for contributions for Officer Martinez. You can call them at 479-573-1100.

Thanks for inquiring.
