Doc - WTF?? Seriously what the he?? is wrong with you?!?!?!? That is just friggin' WRONG! :0
Congratulations on the acquisition, brother. It is certainly the tastiest smoke I've ever had. Definitely the cigars of astronauts.
What is so special about the Tang cigars? As this is a first time ever hearing about them I would love a little more info if possible.

I was actually curious how you can tell they're Tangs?
That about covers it. Thanks, A.What is so special about the Tang cigars? As this is a first time ever hearing about them I would love a little more info if possible.
Commissioned by David Tang... a well known cigar collector/aficionado, proprietor of Cigar Divan, The China Club, et al in Hong Kong.
You can think of these cigars as similar to the Wolters Bolivar Gold Medals... a limited production run done via commission from a third party. They are rare, and in theory a different/custom blend.
I'll be castigated by Havanaphiles for saying "in theory" I'm sure, because these cigars are highly regarded... but it's something of a given that cigars that are highly regarded are also rare. Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?
Either way, it's an awesome pick up by Wilkey if he likes these cigars... because there are not that many of them around to be had.
I love the Sir Winstons and enjoy the Monarchs and so if these are of that same character, I'll be a happy man.

They don't resemble either, but you'll still be a happy man...
