I learned to drive in a '68 International Harvester Scout. Manual transmission, metal dashboard that would bruise a knee cap without much effort. Felt like a curse at 16 especially when trying to take a nap in the back in August heat between 2 a day football practices.... I digress.
So Ford announced the return of the Bronco this July. It's the 6th generation. I made a reservation and the launch by Ford so far is FUBAR. But, still like the look. Drove the Ranger and was pleasantly surprised by the 2.3 liter and the interior room. The Ranger was a 4 door but I will be getting a 2 door Bronco. Still debating between the various trim levels.
Granted this is a sentimental choice. IH Scouts are higher than giraffe vaginas now and not interested in chasing parts for maintenance.
Anyone else looking at the Bronco 6G?
