Flavored Cigars

Just wanted to add that the CAO Eileen's Dream, which just came out, is a fantastic flavored cigar. Very subtle.

How do you make your own dipped cigars? I would love to try that with cognac. I have a cognac infused cigar once and loved it

Take a shot glass of whatever liquid refreshment you want, put it and some cigars is a tupperware container and seal it shut. Then wait for about six to eight weeks to give the cigars a chance to absorb the refreshment. :thumbs:

Glad this thread was bumped .... I'm going to take some of my cheapies and infuse them with some Bacardi Ciclon!

Cojimar has a pleasant vanilla smoke. It's a small one... 5.5 x 42, but it may fit the bill for you.

Yes I realize that this is a couple years old, but I read about flavoring your own cigars and was wondering how it turned out for anyone that has tried it. I have some cheap cigars that were about to get tossed and was wondering if this was worth the trouble.

It seems to work best with very mild cigars with little flavor using something strong tasting. Ive tried them with coconut run, cognac, amaretto and a few others and they've all came out not bad at all.

A friend gave me a box of Helix's(BLAH!!) last year and i did the amaretto thing to them and they came out great!! Let them sit for at least a month...anything less and you really cant taste much.

I did try flavoreds a long time ago but since I have discovered all of the many great flavor profiles offered in the non-flavored cigars I just can't imagine ever wanting to try another flavored cigar.
