Okay I just thought I would ask this. Yes I am a closet flavored cigar smoker, not all the time but once in awhile I do like a nice sweet cigar. I have tasted C.A.O Flavored/Bootlegger, and yes I have even tried Swisher Sweet's, but never again mind you. The one that I have liked the most has been, well none. I still haven't found a cigar with the right blend of sweetness and the nice flavor without having the nasty cloying bitter sacchrine taste. Now brother and sister CP member's here is your chance to tell the world what you think. :D

I was on Cigarbid. and picked up 1 tin of the honey's but it was the amaretto one. I haven't tried one yet. I have also tried the "El Sublamino" which is an awesome single malt scotch infused cigar, alas it isn't being made anymore :( .

The vanilla and the honey are pretty good.

Try port with a few of those Connies Emo!

How do you make your own dipped cigars? I would love to try that with cognac. I have a cognac infused cigar once and loved it

PG,
I bought some "Island Collection Vanilla" from CB the other day. Just got them yesterday. I'll let you know how they are. I really have no expectation that they will be any good , they were only $2 for 5 but I figured what the hell.

every now and then i enjoy the liquor flavored cigars... Rum, Ameretto, tequila..but not on a regular basis...they do get a bit too sweet tasting.

there is a cheap brand i get call Camilo.

Take a shot glass of whatever liquid refreshment you want, put it and some cigars is a tupperware container and seal it shut. Then wait for about six to eight weeks to give the cigars a chance to absorb the refreshment.

Definatley try the Havana Honeys. If I'm heading out to a club or casino (las vegas) and I don't don't want to be bothered with constantly lighting a big cigar, or taking the time to smoke the entire stick, then I buy a 5 pack of Swisher's, cherry flavored.

If you want to flavor your own cigars. do this... Take a paper towel and dampen it with the liquor of your choice. Place it in a large plast zip lock bag, and throw in a few cigars of your choice. Let sit for a week or so, and now you have flavored cigars.

Thanx to the Shadow, tomorrow the cigars will be sitting in the tupperware with Courvoisier XO. I'll try them in August

Sounds tastey, make sure you tell us how they turn out.

Havana Honey's are easily the best I've ever had. Try the Del Sol Vanilla, best size and flavor. I've had others that are ok, but the qualityand releative mildness of the flavoring compared to others is hard to deny.

This was the first hand made cigar I ever purchased for my self and I still keep a few around at all times, probably more for nosatagia then anything else. I live in a very rural area so we don't have any shops nearby to go walk through. I spent hours going through the Thompsons catalog cover to cover very thuroughly reading each and every description until I finally decided the Havana Honeys looked like the best bet. Once they arrived I took them to the next barbeque my friends had and passed them arround. The world beyond Swishers tasted so good none of us have ever been back since. Or if my friends have their cheeting on me behind my back!!

Oh hey, make sure they are Havana Honeys like in Thompsons. All I ever see at cigar bid is Cuban Honeys. NOT the same by a long ways.

i really like the havana honeys and try to keep a tin around all the time!!
i also tried the cao moontrance very good cigar and not an overpowering sweetness.
seemed to be just right!

I decided to do the same thing. I took some of the great rum I had gotten from a group purchase here. :D . Placed a shot glass full of it inside a tupperware container along with about 6 cigars. Now the waiting game.
