First Trip to Cuba report

Bundles are from Alejandro at the Comodoro, Yolanda at the Melia Havana, Reynaldo at the Conde, Jorge at Club Havana, and some that fell out of the factories. Also, learned how to find Behike, Monte 80, SLR Marquez, Monte Dantes, Upmann Noella. It's abit of luck, bribes, negotiation, and charisma. I'll post some pictures as well.
 
VIP lounge at old Partagas Factory. The old factory was shut down and operates just the LCDH. La Chine rolls here, although she very rarely rolls anymore. Mostly for the festivals now. I got a bundle of her robusto and pyramides. Very light, very nice.

Smoking with Hirochi Robaina at the Robaina house in San Juan y Martinez southwest of Pinar del Rio. It was his grandfathers birthday, so we shared some cigars and rum hearing about his grandfather, his crazy trip to Las Vegas, and meeting Obama. He gave us some of his personal stash, cigars that he had rolled himself. A lonsdale with 5 yr tobacco. This is probably the one time that I believe a roller when they say that his leaf was aged. WOW it was amazing good.

The farm had only one tractor (that currently was broken) and two oxen. The staff liked the oxen better, they were more dependable and they could provide fertilizer as well. They were named El Presidente and Mentiroso. President and Liar. Farmers aren't big fans of government.

I have a ton of pictures from El Laguito (Cohiba) factory, which they are no longer doing public tours. But I am tech ignorant. How do I reduce the size of my JPEG? They're cool pictures if only for the specialty cigars Cohiba Majestuosos and Grandiosos 1966 currently in pre-production.

Definitely give Maique a message. I can't suggest him strongly enough. Or his good friend Maikel if you want to hunt down rare boxes at the LCDHs.
 
Thank you for the information, I have been thinking for a long time about whether or not I should go to Cuba in the summer of 2022. Now I've decided that I want to fly there with my wife for a month. She and I often watch old gangster movies made in Cuba, and we dream of going there. We usually find bargain tickets and travel by train, but I understand that Cuba can only be reached by plane. The first thing I want to try is Cuban cigars and rum, you'll say it's every man's dream, but no.I really want to get closer to Cuban culture and I hope that this trip will be memorable for a long time. I forgot to ask, how long did it take to get a visa?
