Fellow BOTL Young Forbes here,
The intent of this post is to generate a thread where we can come together and share pointers or advice, which could deem very valuable for our B/SOTL.
To start things off i opened a Scottrade account, with reason being its only $7 in comission fees and there are no maintenace fees either, which is a plus;and for research purposes i use Motley Fool and Zack investments.
The three stocks i have purchased so far are ATVI, YONG and UEPS.
YONG(ticker symbol) is an agricultural company based in China, set to change the agricultural market in China. They are to present at an Asian conference in New York around mid September. I like ATVI (ticker symbol) because they are video game maker, with very good products in the pipeline which should an added bonus for around the holiday season.
Please fellow S/BOTL, lets help eachother out , in our pursuit for finacial freedom and more money to buy cigars for humidors, coolidors,etc.

i like Fisher Price. They are make cool toys. i invest in it. Very good products in the pipeline. Thank you Young. BOTL Forbes. Finally finacial freedom. To buy more humidors coolers igloodors steel doors trapdoors ha.
 
I invest through a special "spider" fund that only buys stock in tobacco, alcohol, gambling venues, and porn.

None of those ever lose money. :laugh:

Sometimes its free...sometimes it costs an arm and a leg.

But dollar cost averaging suggests it's a good investment.

I've got a pretty promising thing going with a guy from Nigeria right now. If for some reason that doesn't pan out, I would love to send you my account information and have you invest for me.

It's NEVER free. You always pay somehow, whether it's a straight cash payout, dinner, or your eternal soul. But you always pay for it.

I'd take your advice also Lucy, but I'm waiting on my lawyer in the U.K. to confirm my addy, bank account, and S.S. #, so we can proceed with the transfer of the 11 million Euros I won in a lottery over there from my e-mail address! :thumbs:
 
I guess the first question is how well have you done? More to follow.
