I buy most of my beers at Walmart and I try to budget, so here are the beers that you can find in my Garage Frig all the time.
1. Guinness.
2. Anchor Steam Liberty Ale ( I don't get this at Walmart )
3. leinenkugel's sunset wheat
4. Budweiser's "American Ale."
5. Amstel Light
I used to drink alot of beer and this list would have been different a few years ago.... accept for the Guinness and Anchor Steam.
But as I get older, I've strayed from "heavy" full flavored and bodied beers. They tend to be too filling. So I've gravitated to the lighter ones.
But I've got a pretty good range of classic tastes with this group.
1. Classic Irish Stout
2. Classic IPA taste ( lots of hop )
3. Classic German Wheat or "Vise" beer. Although the best "Vise" beer I've ever had the privilege to drink was in a small Irish Bar in Munich, Germany.
4. Classic English Ale taste
5. Classic Euro Pilsener Taste
There's so many beers now to choose from it's really hard to have "favorites" but these are the ones that are easy for me to grab and are less expensive and less filling.
My favorite thing to drink hands down though is the Black and Tan. I love my Black and Tans.
Black and Tans are really great with Cigars too.
