HOLY SHIT! KEV, that post had me laughing so hard I almost just pissed in my chair. I ahd someone in my office while I read that, and now I have to try to explain why I was laughing so hard I had to choke out "I'll come over in a minute."

You are correct. Upper left had corner. You are also correct that I do not recall the rpecise amount that they cost (good catch...apparently I am not the only one with too much time on my hands!)

And yes, I do indeed have a connection that can get everyone here genuwine Fat Phree fig newtons for 69 cents. Like I said, The vending guy says that his cousins' best friends mom dated a guy for a while who works in the Newton plant and brought these to her himself!

First off, it is just odd to see a review with "Fig Newton" in the title around here. So of course I had to read this, and must say that is the same reaction I had the first time I tasted one of the healthy treats.
I would say they probably aren't any better for you. Just the general fact that they are a so much of a deterrent to eating you might become anorexic. How the hell can you call something like this a cookie. Oh, and don't give me that damn "Fruit and Cake" crap, because if this thing contains either of those items I'll put one up my ass and smile.
Eating something like this should be considered assault. Glad to see I am not alone on my crusade.

Like a proud father, it brings me true, unbridled joy to see people still enjoying my creation in this one.
I am putting together a book with some of my best rants, this will be included, along with "Fat Guy with Bad Hygeine on an Airplane next to me" and "road rage at 7AM."
Also incldued as a nice juxtapostion will be some of Laurie and my early love-letters. Kind of a Jekyll & Hyde thing.
I like to think I have a way with the language that makes up for my complete lack of any other saleable skills.

Hmmm...these are probably in their "sick period." You should lay them down for at least a couple of years at 65% RH and see how they fare. I hear FNs have tremendous aging potential :laugh: (like carbon dating)
