I hope this isn't the beginning of the "Patelization"of Padron cigars. I know it's business and revenue is revenue, but this makes at least the 4th or 5th "exclusive" they've made. Hopefully the market isn't such that they have to resort to this kind of thing more in the future. I would hate to see the quality of their original lines suffer the way other manufacturers that have gone down this road have had happen.

Well as long as they are making personalized cigars for everyone else, I expect them to make a line exclusively for the Outlaw now. Alan, I think Jorge needs a good talking to in May about this.

Why don't you just get Jorge to make a personalized cigar for you? It'd be like the #35 maduro, but shorter and skinnier, seein' as how you bitch so much! :sign:

WTF??? Actually if it's personalized for me, shorter and fatter would be more appropriate.

I want my own blend. I want a Familia Reserve blend with a PAM wrapper the size of a Davidoff Diademas Finas without a box press. How many boxes do you suppose I'd have to order to make THAT happen.

I can understand the business aspect of these moves, but I have to say it is a tad disappointing after hearing a lot of what Jorge had to say last year. I'm still going to purchase and smoke my Padrons as long as the quality remains.

Bet it's the same blend as the 1926s.

I thought hey might be the same as the Anniversary blend (PAM/PAN), so I called and asked. The CS rep that I spoke with knew nothing about it other than what was on the website. She sent me to someone higher when I asked (must of been a slow day) and he said it was their own exclusive blend.

Who knows? How different does a blend have to be from an existing blend before it's a new/custom blend?

In the link it says it is 4 year aged tobacco. Doesn't that drop it right in between the 1964(3 year) and 1926(5 year). I wonder how much of a difference that one year makes on the overall taste of the tobacco.

You're just mad because this is yet another cigar you must smoke to keep your Padron streak alive.... :p

I dunno Alan but I'd sure as hell be in for a box of those!

The 1964 line is 4 year aged tobacco.

I hadn't actually considered that today, but now that you mention it, it does kind of bother me.
