Since I ordered on the wine the 15th and just got a notice today that they are sold out. I would start looking for another gift.

I have collected wine for over 20 years, and only in the wine business do I see stores list things, then a week later tell you they don't have the wine. That really happens a great deal around the release of the Spectators top 100 or when a store lists a great deal and reserves it for their preferred clients. I think it would have been nice to state in this forum that the wine was sold out, since they advertised the deal on this forum!!!

I am sure it has happened with cigars, but I have not experienced it.

I would like to personally say that I'm sorry it took so long for our customoer service dept to get back to you about the item being sold out. Please understand that this is the busiest time of the year for us and it takes us a few days to catch up. However, that is not an excuse. I will talk to our wine manager tomorrow to see if we can get any more of this item. In the meantime if there is something else you might be interested in please let me know and I will do my best to give you a better deal.

Don't worry about it, it happens. I will check back here from time to time to see what specials you post, but that was a good one. I have over 100 bottles of port aging, most will probably outlive me, but maybe my daughters will develop a taste and drink some old ports some day

When LOS and I were in there, the place was busier than a food store before a blizzard! I missed out on the '07 Taylor Fladgate as well. Rob did his best to find my order number, but finally realized it must have sold out before I got my order in. Steve said that there was a very small amount available and would try to buy more should it become available again.

Hell, even all the Hennessy XO was gone! Ya' snooze, ya' lose! Rob hooked me up with another bottle of XO in it's place. :thumbs:


With all the great deals we get here, some have got to run out!

Do you ship to Kentucky?

I believe Kentucky has laws against them shipping here. I've got a brother that lives 30 minutes from me, in Ohio, and they do ship there! :thumbs: I've used his address a couple times. We do get spoiled here, in Kentucky, with all the great bourbons though!!! :whistling:
