2nd in this mini series. This one has a maduro wrapper.
1/3: Chocolate with a fresh baked bread component.
2/3: So if you were to pluck a rhubarb from a strawberry rhubarb pie, and you make sure it has some that pie filling on it, but just the rhubarb. No strawberries. Now sprinkle that with some of the dried Swiss Miss you get in those little packets to make hot chocolate from, that is what the middle third is all about.
3/3: Heavily crusted burnt ends with sauteed shiitake mushrooms.
So this mini series has been a interesting shift from a lot of tradition cigar notes. I'll be honest, La Zona can really pull flavors out of tobacco. One more left in the Comfortably numb series and I've very excited about Vol. 3.
