Were I to take the same approach on this that CC did, I would tear into every person here who did not publicly defend me from the vicious insults that Bill clearly leveled at me. I would lay into anyone who maintained a neutral stance, calling out any "scumbag" who kept their hands in their pockets.

However, I think that approach was wrong then, and I think it's wrong now. I recognize that there is more involved than forcing people to pick a side, and demanding that people state it publicly. I recognize that there are valid reasons for people to not wish to take a side in this dispute, and in others.

This will not be right in my book until Bill issues a public, unconditional apology both to myself, and to this board. No more DWF-esque "It wasn't directed at you", no more joking around, trying to act like it never happened.

Stevehawk, you make a good point. Many folks are losing it a bit (me included, as my recent ranting posts will attest to). Hopefully, we'll all calm down and get back to discussing the hobby that brought us here.

Number 2:
CC: about half-way through the thread (post 249), you linked to an image (heh.) on the stoggiechat server. Either they are running an anti-leech script (something so people can't link to images from off the server) or they replaced the file with a new one or you have an interesting idea what Rod's avatar should be. I'm guessing the image isn't the one you meant to link to, and you might want to edit it out of your post for the monday workday viewing crowd. Hrrmm. Or leave it... god knows the female form is a lovely thing in that position...

Number 3:

Maybe the others have a life on a Saturday night unlike some of us
