Election 2004 Pass

Great Gods! Ok, I just read this pass.

Rules, rules, rules! You guys are going to give us conservatives a bad name! (It may be too late for the Republican party, but us true-conservatives... ;))

Anyway -- I see I'm too late, so I'll ask to be in the "recount pass", if one is held.

Also -- I am but a poor-white-boy, so I'd be playing in the "domestic bag", anyway... (All my ISOMs are gifts, and I have promises outstanding to review them, publicly.) Besides, all PROPER Bush supporters know our stance on Trading With The Enemy... "Why do you hate America So much?!" :p

As far as pitching in propaganda, does it have to be from one of The Big Two? Or can we put in "interesting" stuff? :love:

Well, either way -- I'll watch the pass and lust after it in my heart. No, wait, that was "one of those other guys". Ok, I'll lust after our host. No, wait -- that was one of those other guys, too. Fine! I buy some "Freedom Ketchup" (or whatever the hell it's called) and dip my cigar in it. No, that's not right, either.

Nice, neat small package but a tad on the heavy side :0 . There's a third tupperware inside but I don't think we'll need it unless you guys go too crazy so try your best to NOT put ten cigars and take two :0 :p :D If you opt for the third tupperware container, you'll need a bigger box ;)

This pass is taking a generally northern route for the first half of its trip so hopefully it shouldn't be adversly affected by any "hot" weather. At least all three stops in CA are in the SF area. By the time it hits AZ, it might only be in the mid 90's out there :p and as it's "passing" through the south, it'll probably be sometime in October.

We're off and running, almost as quickly as Fast4Dr's Original Band Habanos Only Pass :sign:

Nice to see you here Ted! I really enjoyed your posts on ASC, I just can't wade thru all the irrelevant crap in there anymore!! (Which I guess makes your stuff relevant by default. :) )

BTW, how did your crop come out/up? Have you rolled anything yet, or are you still looking for 14 year old virgins? (Ask Bill about that. :sign: )
 
My e-mails have been dead and I log on and find the pass is in motion and almost in the mailbox at the end of the lane.

Wish I new why the e-mails quit coming to me at times even though I am subscribed. :angry:

Good, since you don't know, I'm not going to tell you :p What you don't know can't hurt you :D

Okay, here's the deal:
A person starts a pass and sometimes the first person in the pass will as an act of generosity, add an additional bag to the pass called a "host bag" in which the pass participants place cigars designated for the pass host or person who started the pass.

I used to think "Hey, that's a nice idea, after all the host is potentially risking a few hundred dollars worth of his cigars, put a great deal of time into starting & organizing this pass and is letting me be part of his pass so I'd love to toss in an extra stick for the host."

Well all fine and good but anyone who "hosts" a pass nine times out of ten winds up with almost DOUBLE the cigars the pass started with anyway due to most passer's generosity with puts & takes (unless of course you are dixie with a strict "1 for 1" rule :p )

My personal opinion is I don't like host bags and would ask that no participants in this pass start one. First off, I tried my best to discourage this in the beginnning AND secondly. there ain't no room in the box anyway HA HA :D

The other thing too is that once the host bag is placed in the pass, the pass participants feel obliged to add something to it. LOL, I got over that one a long time ago, I try to be a little more than fair with my puts and takes and no longer feel the least bit guilty when I don't drop an "extra" in the host bag :0 ;)

I have had this discussion via PM's with a few of the more senior members here and the consensus is they generally don't like the concept either.

So there ya have it, my opinion and there are those who may disagree. Maybe there should be a thread or poll on the topic......

Man, I've been sitting here in a crouched position and catchers mitt waiting for the mail lady to show up today! Of course the day I am expecting something, she wont show up till after 5PM.
I got a couple of sticks to trade off, and I will probably get it back in the mail tomorrow!......assuming it shows up!

So, seeing as this is an election pass, shall we name him........Dubbya? :lookup:

Wow, you should have seen the motorcade. All these men in dark suits and sunglasses, it was quite a sight!

I'm having "Dubbya" over for the evening, gonna make some good old BBQ for him, and get him out tomorrow! :D

Since this is an Election Pass, I thought I'd pull a string to see if I can get some political things. My high school buddy works in the White House, funny enough w/ the interns. I emailed him today so hopefully he'll check his email, remember who I am :p and get some things out to me. IF I do get some things, they will go in the box along w/ some of my cigars :D
