Well, I have offically gotten tired of being fat. I quit smoking about 3 months ago and went from a pretty hefty 300lbs to 326lbs. To give you a little background on me, when I was 22 I worked at a gym full-time and was at my absolute peak shape at 230lbs. I expect my ideal weight to be in the low 250's. I'm 6'5 with a larger than normal build. I am 31 years old. You can see my picture in my profie.

I have started my diet initially by just easing back into it and I will be on full force as of 9/15. Guess my weight at the end of 3 months and you'll win a 5 pack of nice smokes. If you pick below 275 and I actually get there, I'll be springing for a box split of my choice as a celebration, of which you'll get 10 plus whatever else I feel like throwing in!! If I don't get below 275 in three months, I will send out a second package at 6 months!!

Cheer me on, cause I'm sick of it. I can't believe I've gone from one end of the spectrum to the other in ten years. Its time for a change!!

1 entry per person. First unedited entry of the correct 3 digit number (no decimals) wins. Its my contest. Its my rules. I pick the winner!

CONTEST ENDS 12/15 and the second part of the contest ends 3/15/08, just in time for a VACATION!!\

Congrats man. I have an almost identical contest that I may unleash once yours gets going. I'm gonna say 285. Don't want to loose too much muscle in the process.

Good luck!

I'm 6ft. 2" and over weight as yourself, i'm also on a diet and hope to get to 270lbs, you being 6ft. 5" you should get down to about 280lbs. and still feel good about yourself. Some people obsess about weight and lose too much, don't hurt yourself. Good luck and don't weaken!

275. You got it. The hardest part seems to be the beginning, just getting used to the changes and sticking to it was the biggest problem for me. Well that and getting married :whistling: .

Good luck and thanks for the contest.

John

267! My boss was doing the same. He went from 270? to about 190. Just remember that even if you don't lose weight, its all about how you feel! Good luck

250!!! Once you start....you'll realize how good it feels again. Good luck and thanks for the contest.

Once you make that decision to change your life, your life will change! It's not about dieting, it's about lifestyle, exercise and eating well

Good luck and well done!

Brian

Good luck with your diet, but look at it as a permanent lifestyle change and you will never diet again.

I will guess 270.

I'm going to say 273, keeping it tight and under the wire for the box split! Good luck! When I was 20 I lost 65 lbs over a summer working my tail off, and for the love of a girl- so for the love of cigars I think you'll do it! keep us posted!

Damn, ya'll are setting some serious goals for me.. Wooo. Thanks for the support.

3 months? I'll say 30 pounds....so 296. Not quite to your goal, but losing 10 pounds a month is pretty friggen good!
I almost had the same contest 6 months ago, but was too scared of failing horribly. I went from 296 to 275, and am prety happy about that. This is where I want to be weight wise, now just to tone it all up.

Edit: For spelling and the fact that I went from 196-175...not 296-275.

hmm I'm going to go 298. Not trying to discourage bro but these things take time, I have faith in you though  .

295, cuz Josh stole my pick.

5lbs in the 1st week or two, then around 2 lbs per week after that seems about right to me. If you're working out, you'll gain muscle weight while you lose the fat.

Good luck with it! :)
