I know we all used to buy baseball cards back in the day when Topps was the only company around, they were printed on crude rough cardboard like paper when nothing was glossy. Time capsule to 2007. I just read a few articles on Derek Jeter's 2007 Topps card where an employee inserted Bush and Mickey Mantle on the card and it was too late to pull. If you get a chance, check out a picture of the card, its hilarious. The cards are out there now and apparantly in high demand. Reminds me of the Billy Ripken error card back in the day. Whether it was by accident or planned, I"m sure Topps will have a product in high demand. G1

They did a pretty good job with the Mantle insert (from what I have seen online - haven't seen the actual card). But the Bush insert just looks terrible. Hope whoever did it doesn't work in the effects dept. He probably lost his job for this effort.

Agree with Bigstick. Since this is Jeters regular release and not a short printed card. There should be a lot out there. Even so, I think its neat that it was actually released to the public. G1

I have to agree, it is cool and brought back childhood memories when I was opening some packs but that bush edit is bad. I happened to score one from 10 packs the other day but it won't be worth that much. I think it was up near 300.00 on ebay last week. And now it's like 30.00. Too many out in the public (100k+) but I hear they plan on fixing it this summer on the complete sets. Funny collectors item though. I think it was good for the collectibles market/industry. Made me go out and buy some packs. :)
