A good smoke will last an hour or more so in my big scheme of things the only thing worth $25 an hour is a BJ. I'm a cheap SOB so my limit isn't too high.

Please urgently PM me and tell me where I can get a 1-hour BJ for $25.

I'd settle for 12 minutes and a super-expensive $20 cigar. :p

Have yet to find anything that tastes better than a padron 64 & 26 or fuente anejo & opus.and those are all less than 20(obviously i mean the currantly produced stuff).Show me a better cigar thats more and i'll take it.I have a selection around that are $50 plus and they are good but i mainly have them for variety.

I have to agree with Mephistan on this one. PAMs are top notch IMO and I've had a few $20 + sticks and PAMs are still my fav.

I think cigars that cost more than $100 would be classified as Super Expensive

Anything over $20 is super expensive to me. I just can't see myself laying out a twenty dollar bill for something I know I am going to set on fire and destroy. :)

Also, I have plenty of sub-$10 (heck plenty of sub-$5) smokes that I really enjoy, and can't imagine it being that much better.

Here's another question: What do you consider to be the point of diminishing returns for a cigar? In other words, there can be a great difference between a $2 and a $5 dollar cigar, but is there as much difference between a $5 and $8 dollar cigar?

For me that point falls in the $10-15 range. But again at times you want the best and are willing to pay an extra $10 on top of that even if the cigar is say only 25% better.

I usually dont go less than $10 unless a botl recomends a good one in that range.Just to much quality and taste problems in that area it seems. Consistancy is a big deal to me.Ya ya spelling.Like lumberg said how do you improve on a perfect thing (pam/pan).This does not include cubans i have found some quality stuff in the 5+ range.

I voted 25-29. I would think that those would be special purchase cigars.

I have never seen higher priced cigars, locally.

That depends on your tastes. There are some sub $5 smokes I've enjoyed (I've got some 5 yr. old CAO Black Labels that are a very nice smoke - I think I paid $4.25 each). Don Tomas is a highly rated cigar which I believe is sub $5 and is a decent smoke. So are the Baccarat's.

But, I've also found there are a whole slew of smokes in the $5 - 10 range that are awesome smokes (CAO, AVO, Punch, Partagas, LGC, etc.) These seem to be where I most drift to. Don't get me wrong, if I could smoke an Opus or a Davidoff on a daily basis, I'd do it - but I can't. In the case of those cigars, price truly does make a difference (awesome blends, great construction, fantastic consistent smokes)

Anything above $15 for a non cuban, or above $20 for a Cuban cigar is far too expensive.

Anyone who smokes $20 dollar cigars daily is wasting a lot of money. Just because it is more expensive, doesn't necessarily make it a better cigar.

At one time, I was a daily cigar smoker... Even though I have some very expensive cigars in my collection, I still enjoyed smoking Private Stock, and La Finca cigars.

Methinks you have it backwards... given that you don't pay any tobacco, import, or sales taxes on Cuban cigars, your money goes further with them.

Given the current circumstances.... I absolutely agree with you!!
