AW CRAP! You guys looked like you had fun. I'm sorry I could not make it.
While you guys were touring the White House and adult beverage establishments, I was with my son's Boy Scout Troop at the Norfolk Naval Ship Yard touring a Los Angeles class, fast attack sub, the USS Albany:

Followed by a tour of the USS Sherman Forest, one of the latest of the US Navy Aegis Guided Missile Destroyers:

It was very cool. I have been a contractor supporting various Navy contracts for just over 20 years. This is the first time I have ever toured a US Navy vessel.
I wish I had been wearing a hard hat while touring the sub because I connected with a pipe bracket. Those subs were not designed with a tall crew, nor an overweight crew in mind. I'm 6'3" and I've got a little egg on the top of my head.
I wish I had been able to light one up on the deck. But since it was a Scout trip, I was not able to do so.
Although I am glad I went with my son and his Troop, I wish I could have been with you guys in body, AND in spirit.
