Thank you James and Mike! I will be as far away as i can from the bands, can't handle the loud music. My son and i will be in the "B' ticket line which is from 1pm to 3pm. Mike send me your tel.# via pm and maybe we'll smoke and drink together for a while. Thank you for the suggestion Black Cloud.

No worries. Surprised a big band like Slayer would play a beer release party, but it is Dark Lord Day, so it fits with the heavy metal theme I suppose.
No words are more true! Those Three Floyds Brewers are some tatooed, heavy metal, satanistic loving people. I wonder what St. Arnold of Metz would say about that!
Before all the present rules of limiting the amount of beer you could bring into the grounds at DLF, people would bring keggers and all sorts of containers with their own home made brews. This guy had a giant bottle of English Ale and was sharing a cup full as he walked throufg the crowd. The different brews i have tasted and shared over the years is a brew meister's dream come true.

Sorry but they sell four bottles per ticket. That's why it's there's such a huge demand. First the 6000 tickets get sold within four minutes for $15 online, and than you buy them on Ebay for about $100 per ticket. You can see why it's hard to part with the brew.Right now on Ebay the prices are starting to come down if you're interested.

Awesome weekend, despite the weather!
Claudio, never got a chance to call you because of the lines and weather. I hope you had a great time as well. I was not lucky enough to get a golden ticket, but the regular Dark Lord is fine with me. I just wish I could have bought a case of it!

I've been attending since 2005 and my three brothers come with me, never hit on a Golden Ticket yet. Makes me wonder why they make such a big fuss about it. We really enjoyed ourselves and because of some trades i made from CP, WE ENJOYED THE BEST OF ALL WORLDS. There was even a flashing by a nice looking lady which only added to the enjoyment.
