Well I got some bad news, the CAO soaked up all the water from the beads in the panty hose so it is destroyed and the Opus X while still in cello was awfully damp too. I put the Opus in its own baggie, it should be okay but I tossed the CAO.

Sorry to hear about the water problem, that may be my fault, I added a little distiled water to it because it was dry. I didn't think it was that wet....

I'll forward some replacements to Moki on monday....It should meet up with the pass in time.

No worries; if the current setup looks like it is still causing problems, I have a credo unit I can put in there as a replacement.

I think that only a very small amount of water is needed on the Climmax beads. I have not had a lot of experience with them, but they seem to work very well in my home humidores. I am going to search for better forms of humidity monitors. I have a small Radio Shack unit. I think I will include that with my future pass. I wonder if any other technologies exist. Something like a crystal strip thermometer would work well.

BTW, if you're saying "uh... WTF??" regarding my puts, I decided to throw in a bunch of sticks to make up for the damaged cigars. I'll just keep what big100hd is sending to me.

The reason is that I still have no car, and getting to the post office is somewhat of a hassle for me still. I've arranged to go tomorrow anyway to mail out some other packages, and I'd really prefer to just get the pass on the road then too.

I hooked up with Davela and had a nice mini-herf at a local bar as well as doing a little pass play. I had to rebox the pass. The original box got kind of damp sitting in the rain on my front steps. BTW, I don't think you can get another stoge in the container.
