Daily Smokes 3/26/05

Today was an La aurora 100 anos and an Af curly head.

By the way on the fuma. I've been smoking the La vieja habana maduro line i like these as well as the fuma. i know spelling.

Yesterday I had coffee with a Indian Tabac Boxer Maduro.
On the way to the doctors office at work I had a Padron 2000
On the way home from work I had a Rocky Patel Sungrown.
After supper I had a Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 Torpedo

Listing it out makes me realize I REALLY need to cut back on the smokes. That was > $20 worth of smokes and it was a no special occasion, rainy, Monday. I can't afford that!

I am getting ready to light up a padron Fumas...for those of you who haven't tried this little known gem, I highly suggest it. I know that they aren't as wonderful as a premium smoke, but at less than 2 bucks a stick, they are a hidden treasure, plus, do to their strange look (completely unfinished) they always get a good conversation going.  When I found them at the local place here in chatt-town, I bought every one I could get my hands on. No better cigar under the 3 dollar mark in my book.

Now I know why I can't ever find any of these at Burns :angry2:

LOL!!!! Sorry dude...Hopefully, you and kyackinboy will be able to come to my show in two weeks and after that, we'll break in the shack proper...at that time I will pay the piper! A Fumas or two is the least I can do for you getting me to sign up on this board.

When I first got on the Fuma train they were always out. Knox cigar has them alot, but that's a long drive. Maybe a local box split is in order.

I agree with you dude...I dig those cheap little smokes so much. I'm in.

The La Vieja maduros are ok. I think they are a little flat, and leave you missing out, considering they run around 7 or 8.

oh lets see posting on yesterday's smokes, smoked about half of that esplendido vitasea sent me and was not impressed :angry2: so I had to reaffirm my love for cigars by smoking a short story and I have to say I totally dug that cigar, a lot stronger and more flavorful than I imagined. :D

oh lets see posting on yesterday's smokes, i smoked a sancho panza....great cigar held ash well, great draw, great flavors, and then i smoked Short Story....while the_Gurkha had a great on my unraveld from the foot and the binder and wrapper flaked away....Damnit :angry2:  :angry2: o well will get another one and try again.

Day before yesterday I had a pam 64 diplomatico. Yesterday I had a estaban cruz something, and an ashton vsg.

Tonight is poker night, and my brother's birthday. I think I'll take a pam, a psd 04, an ashton aged maduro, and maybe some of those estaban cruz's to share.

A couple days ago I tried one of the La Aurora 100s. At first I thought It was great, smooth and chocolaty. After about a third of the way it turned toxic. I have a couple more so I hope age will improve them. I thought this was a good review of them La Aurora 100
